We had a wonderful time at Trennicks thanks to Clare and Tony's wonderful warmth and knowledge of the area. The room was wonderful, clean and cosy with kindly thought out details. It was a perfect base from which to explore the local area! Breakfast was especially delicious with a range of options, extras and great quality local produce. We especially...

We stayed here in two rooms with our adult daughter, over the New Year's holiday. The proprietors have a professional background in the hospitality business . . . and it shows. The accommodations were roomy and immaculate, and the cooked breakfast reflected care and pride of "authorship." Driving through the town and up the one lane road to the establishment...

We arrived after a wet day walking to a very warm welcome from Tony and Clare. The room was well equipped, with a nice en-suite shower. Breakfast had a Scottish twist (Tony is from north of the border). Proper porridge (with salt or honey), followed by a full cooked breakfast, but with the black pudding from Stornoway - the bits...

A real highlight of our visit to England from NZ. Wonderful hosts. Met on arrival and Clare gave us a full briefing on the area over coffee and cake. She lent us maps which were very useful. We stayed in the Seaview Room which we found comfortable and spacious with good views down to the harbour and also over the...

Right from our arrival, we were greeted by Clare and Tony and were welcomed with tea and cakes. Room great, with small patio and sea view. Stayed a week so tried every breakfast on the menu, all excellent! Nothing was too much trouble, we were loaned detailed maps and given recommendations on places to see and good restaurants. Our first...

We vIsited the area for a few days and was lucky enough to find this B&B had late availability. We did try to book what we thought would be the best room, but was thankful that it was booked and we were offered the Lighthouse room instead, which turned out to be better because it rained on and off so...

Booked for one night in the Seaview room. Unfortunately it was raining on arrival but despite the weather Clare came out to greet us, showed us to our room and then served us coffee and homemade flapjacks. The room was clean, comfortable and with amazing views over the harbour. The beverage tray was stocked with good quality teas and coffee...

Transfer from St Austell - no problem; visit to the lost Gardens of Helligan - no problem. Not to mention the wonderful quiet position overlooking Mevagissey and the best breakfast we have had for a long while.
