We visited last year and thought Trevalsa Court hotel was great. We’ve just returned from our second visit (2 days) and were again really impressed.
We booked directly with the hotel which included dinner and B&B as well as a prosecco cream tea.

Trevalsa Court Hotel stands on a cliff top with most rooms enjoying fabulous sea views. It has an eclectic mix of ancient oak beams, mullion windows and oak paneling with designer fabrics, leather sofas and …Moremodern art. We encourage guests to relax and make the hotel their holiday home. Our food, with an emphasis on fish, is largely locally produced, deliciously prepared and tastefully presented. Golf, tennis, cycle and canoe hire are available locally. Less

The walk to the harbour is around 10 mins but is up hill back and would take maybe 15 mins. I suppose it depends how good a walker you are.
