Dined here with my mum for her birthday. We were staying nearby and unfortunately all the recommended dining restaurants were booked and as we called by, this one had availability. The food was fine, but the staff need a bit of training and the young...More
Called in for lunch which was OK not outstanding. The staff were very friendly and welcoming which goes a long way. Starter of codfingers was excellent but mussels overcooked and not much flavor in the liquor.
Bonus is it takes dogs but then so do...More
Looking for somewhere to eat and tripped across this restaurant at the end of the quay/harbour. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced and Fish and Chips very good. Whilst eating you could watch the local fishermen landing their catches. We only ate here.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Efficient restaurant service, and good food. Sadly, surroundings and decor tired. Needs refurbishing. Exterior of building also in need of an uplift, particularly outside seating, and the flight of steps leading up to accommodation. Entrance hall and stairs shabby and...More

I've come back from a stay at The Wheelhouse and unfortunately as it right on the quayside there is no parking. We parked on at the harbour car park which was 3 mins walk away and cost about £5 for 24 hours, but you have to go through some very narrow cobbled streets to get there.
If you nervous about narrow streets and you don't have much to carry, then there are public car parks as you approach the village. One car park says "narrow streets ahead", and there is also a private car park just after that, both are less than 3 minutes' walk from The Wheelhouse.
This may not be relevant but there was public metered disabled parking just in front of the B&B.
Have a great trip!
