We popped into this hotel for a late afternoon drink. Absolutely stunning the hotel, the views and the staff were exceptional. Yes there are a few children around as it was early teatime, but as we have had small children we know how important it is to be together. Then l presume they are in bed by the time the...

Dear Anita C of Ascot, thank you for calling in yesterday to enjoy a " sundowner" with us. I am so pleased you enjoyed your visit and do hope it will be the first of many. The sunsets across Mounts Bay are legendry and at their best as we head into September. If you ever want to recapture the view...

We have 3 children (8,5,2) and chose this hotel because we needed a rest, and the 2 hours childcare offered each day were desperately needed (3 hours would have been perfect!) It was a beautiful location, with stunning views. The garden and grounds were wonderful, and the furnishings were luxurious and chic, with plenty of space and activities for kids...

Dear PR of Oxford thank you for your very kind review and I am so pleased that you would recommend us to others. I suspect you stayed with us very recently when we have been a little "weather challenged" which has resulted in many of our families opting to stay in and use the hotels facilities for most of the...

The location of this hotel is just stunning, heaven on earth. We have visited so many times over the past 27 years. Things change and we all expect that. But.... I agree with a previous comment that this is now a glorified Butlins. It is so disheartening when you know what it was like. I am sure that the families...

Dear John W of Luton, thank you for posting a review after your recent visit to Polurrian. I was saddened to read your comments especially as you have been coming to the hotel for so many years. The hotel changed ownership over four years ago and we consciously decided to change the business model and became part of a Family...

I wrote a review last year about this stunning hotel that has changed beyond belief And now very children focused. This remains the case. I visited again last week to check out anything new. In my last review, Yvonne wrote that we could expect more of the old Polurrian if we visited out of school holidays. Thanks for that but...

Dear DW of Dunstable Thank you for sharing your thoughts with the TripAdvisor community. It is positively heart breaking to read your comments especially as you have visitied before at the same time of year and obviously prefer a quieter environment as opposed to a very family orientated experience where every day is different depending on the age range and...

We stayed at this hotel for couple of nights. Hotel has stunning surroundings, beautiful views. We visited with our four legged friend, he was very happy to explore hotel gardens...lots of places to run around. Room on itself was good size, VERY clean! Our dog had nice doggie bag on our arrival with nice doggie treats! What a beautiful idea!...

Dear Virgav, thank you for your lovely review. I am so pleased that you and your four legged family member enjoyed your stay with us. We look forward to welcoming you back which I expect will be in term time when there are naturally considerably fewer children around. Do enjoy the rest of the summer. With warm regards from Yvonne...

We visited this hotel for one week half board. I found the booking easy and the person who we spoke to was very helpful; and this set a good tone. Dear Brian G of Gloucester, thank you for your return visit after a 12 year break. As you kindly pointed out hotel has changed somewhat, as has our market especially in the school holidays when we are a haven for families.
