I've stayed in the Royal Inn on quite a few occasions and always in different rooms. Each has been a joy and each has given me a great night's sleep. I will admit that there is one room I particularly liked over all the others but you would not be disappointed with any of them. The staff were always very... More

Rooms attached to local pubs do not have the best reputation where I live, but as a last minute booking this was the cheapest hotel in the area aside from youth hostels and shared accommodation, which did not suit me. I booked in a hoped for the best. Upon approaching the hotel it looks like a pub. I am not... More

Good location to visit local places of interest such as the Eden project, tribah gardens and the lost gardens of heligan. The hotel is a large pub with a relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast selection is good , and the evening meal menu is varied. Suggest booking a table for evening times , otherwise with a bit of a waite meals can... More

We wanted to visit The Eden Project and needed to stay overnight. What a good chose we made with this one! Very comfortable room for our one night stay, but would happily have stayed longer. Priced extremely reasonably with a good breakfast. There was also a little extra treat for us when we arrived, but I won't give this away... More

On the face of it it looked like a very welcoming local pub, but the size of the Inn was quiet deceiving, the building was very large, it felt more like saying at a hotel rather than a pub which was nice. The Inn itself was a very clean and friendly. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. The... More

Picked to stay here as I was visiting the Eden project. Upon arrival all staff were exceptionally nice and the room was spacious and clean. The pub and hotel itself was very clean and welcoming. We had dinner there which was lovely and very good value for money. Breakfast was included which was also exceptional, great variety and amazing helpful... More

Stayed for one night only but would have happily stayed longer. Room was clean and very comfortable. Drinks are reasonably priced, as is the food on the evening menu, which had plenty of choice and was delicious! Breakfast was excellent too. Would highly recommend this great value accommodation!

My first visit to Cornwall, just for 5 days using public transport only. The hotel itself is superb, rooms large, clean. Breakfast excellent and food in restaurant and bar to a high standard, very generous servings and reasonably priced. This means if you have had a busy day touring you can relax over a drink and meal at night without... More

Booked to stay here with my lady wife on a rare night away from the kids to visit the Eden project and enjoy a gig as part of the Eden sessions. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, a good sized, well appointed room and a great price to boot. Is only a 5 minute (£5) taxi ride to Eden so a... More
