Now having walked from Newquay to Perranporth you would hope that the Youth hostel would be in some easily accessed place. It was on the top of the cliff overlooking the headland and beach area. That meant walking uphill from the shops and beach. Don't be put off. Its a lovely little cabin to stay in, no food is provided... More

Thank you for your feedback! Its really great to hear you got a surf in before moving on. We are in the perfect spot for walking and surfing here and you often meet other walkers and surfers staying at the hostel, the team here enjoy both too. Hope you enjoy the rest of the coast path and have a good... More

Loved Perranporth. The hostel is well situated above the beach with amazing views. Lots of outdoor space for school groups. Small rooms but you don't spend a lot of time inside! Little galley kitchen perfect for self catering. 3 bathrooms and separate showers which were a great arrangement. Wetsuit drying room is amazing!! Could do with more outdoor washing lines.... More

its located right on the north Cornwall coastal path, so perfect for walkers, - with everything you need in a minimal but comfortable sense, and with very welcoming lovely staff. the communal living room was very cosy - with a view out to the sunset

We really appreciate your feedback here at YHA Perranporth, thank you! It certainly has been a spring for super sunsets here at the hostel, and we're glad you caught one from up on our humble cliff top hostel. More

Excellent location with great views of the beach and Perranporth. You can even watch the sunset from the communal area on a clear evening. Facilities are clean and pleasant and the beds were comfortable. Most importantly, the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and informative. They just can't do enough for you. I would highly recommend YHA Perranporth to anyone staying... More

I stayed here for two nights during my visit in Perranporth. The staff has been lovely and the place is really comfortable as well. The hostel ia perfectly placed on the cliff overlooking the entire Perranporth beach. You can see and hear the waves by your window as well. It is also just beside the starting point of the southwest... More

Great access to the coastal path and the very scenic walk to St Agnes and beyond. Lovely, helpful staff. Beautiful view over the sea from the living room/diner. Clean, fresh bed linen as always in YHA hostels :-) The kitchen was basic, but adequate, with a large, noisy fridge. The bunk beds were lower than usual which meant easier access for... More

The hostel's in an amazing location, right up on the cliff less than ten minutes' walk from the centre of town and with beautiful views over the bay. You could spend hours just watching the antics of the surfers (of varying degrees of ability) from the lounge or garden. It's a tiny hostel but has all the stuff you need,... More

A wonderful hostel with a friendly welcome and indivudal charm. Phil and his team really do make you as comfortable as possible and are a wealth of local information. The view is simply stunning as the hostel is situated at Droskyn Point which overlooks the whole length of Perranporth beach. Cannot wait to return.

Absolutely fantastic view! Right beside the SWCP - rather "on" ;-) Best showers on my trip! Kitchen was a bit dirty - every guest should clean after him/herself! Maybe telling people when arriving that it is important to clean the kitchen, could help. Kind of reminder...

We stayed at the YHA Perranporth as we were attending a Wedding on the Beach on Saturday. We stayed just one night in a family room (4 adults). We checked in easily just after 5:30pm and were welcomed warmly by the member of staff on duty and shown our room and the facilities. The room itself was small (cosy) just... More
