Had a great ice cream and service from this inn. Lady couldn't have been nicer and more helpful when I asked for ice cream on a cold February afternoon! Looking forward to trying the food! Good access for wheelchairs.

Friendly staff. We had the Sunday Carvery which was reasonably priced. Would go again if we were in the area. We arrived approximately at noon and the restaurant soon started to get very busy. Adequate parking nearby and close to the beach.

Warm and welcoming. Very picturesque setting by the sea. We had a delicious carvery on Sunday afternoon! We had booked a table over the phone with no problems. Everything was cooked well, lots of choice and something for everyone. My daughter is a vegetarian and had to have separate gravy. Staff were all attentive to our family's needs! Will definitely...

Visited yesterday for a family birthday celebration, 7 of us in total and we were all made very welcome. We chose from the specials board and would highly recommend the sea food platter, this consisted of twisted and butterfly prawns, cod pieces and squid rings all in a light batter, served with chips and salad and a spicy sauce. The...

My daughter and i parked up easily as there is plenty of parking at and around the Smuggleers Inn. Wlalked in at 1pm on a Sunday and managed to get a table for lunch. Tables had reserved cards on them but the barmaid said this was to stop people just taking a table! Think they prefer to give you a...

Many thanks for your review Sandy, Sundays is one of our busiest days and we normally advise customers to book in advance. The tables are all reserved so that we can accommodate as many people as possible who would like to join us for carvery on the day as well as our customers who have pre booked. Glad you enjoyed...

We visited as a party of wedding guests and had all the rooms as a family for four days. The rooms were comfortable particularly the family room, which was a good size. We had most of our meals in the restaurant and the quality and quantity of the food was excellent. The Manager, Kieran, who has sadly just left, was very...

Great Parking, Enjoy a walk along the beach, in an unusual part of Devon , Lovely food at the Smugglers, trouble is you do not have enough room for a dessert, and you need plenty of time for eating a large plateful of food. I do not think this is a Hotel

Nice pub to eat after walking on the beach. Open for food all day and accept well behaved dogs. All day carvery looks good value but we opted to beer battered fish and chips which was very good. Sauces and mayonnaise come in proper bottles which makes a pleasant change. Excellent special deals on Thursday and Fridays. Well worth a...

Visited yesterday (18th) whilst staying locally. Can honestly say it was very, very good. The staff each and everyone of them was so friendly and we felt so welcome. The carvery very was one of the tastiest we've ever had. Took a portion of the roulade home with us, had a laugh with the guy trying to slide in in...

“Again this is not really applicable as it is not a hotel but an Inn. The family room and front double best for size and view.”
