I was looking for something a little different for my partners birthday celebrations and we had never visited St Agnes. The Driftwood Spars is a fantastic Cornish pub overlooking the sea with it's own microbrewery, fantastic food, from the what we found out was a new chef. The rooms are compact but very comfortable and priced just right. Breakfast was...

I stayed over the New Year Period and had a wonderful time. I was in a single room (Room 12) located outside of the main building, which made access very convenient and it came with a sea view. Room was clean, shower a little on the small side and wifi was not perfect, but nothing to spoil my stay. Staff...

Walking the South West coast path from Porteath to Perranporth we were looking forward to The Driftwood Spars for our refreshment break. We are "traditional pub" lovers so had decided not to stop at the very inviting cafe at Chapel Porth. When we walked into the Driftwood it was everything we expected it would be on first impressions; however on...

Great 2 days way with my wife to celebrate the new year. Place was very busy, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had both our evening meals here and the food was excellent. Local beer was also a nice touch. Also being dog friendly really helped. If I had to be really critical the room was 'compact'...

We stayed here overnight after attending an evening function and found it to be a very pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room comfortable and clean and the breakfast was very nice. The building is old and interesting and the views not the best but this all adds to the character of the place and for us...

This short break was planned in the middle of a trip to Cornwall to see our eldest son & his wife. My wife and I own a very busy campsite & gites business in France and we haven't had a real break in over 11 years. So, we booked a short break at the Driftwood Spars after spending many happy...

My first visit to the Driftwood Spars, but I went with a friend who had been before and enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and very welcoming on arrival and all the time we were there. There was good continuity which added to the feel of a 'home from home' rather than an impersonal hotel. On arrival we booked in...

We visited Driftwood Spars not to stay but as a fact finding mission as we have looked at this hotel before as a potential establishment at which to spend a few days. So while staying in Falmouth we called in for a drink and lunchtime meal on Monday 27th October and quite frankly were not impressed by what we saw....

This is a gem it has a real come pub/hotel feel the pub part of business is really good fantastic selection of real ales and ciders with a great atmosphere in bar, area gets a little crowed in season but that to be expected. I had some fantastic meals and one average not sure of steak but might be personal...

Driftwood Spars was recommended to us by a friend who stays there annually. The location is perfect, in a quiet cove with no through traffic and a small beach within a stones throw of the B&B. High points were the food, the pub, the professional staff and the cleanliness. Excluding breakfasts, we had meals in both the bistro and in...
