We booked to stay for two nights, Friday and Saturday. To be honest we were expecting a little better. At £100 per night, I think it's reasonable to expect a very good standard of accommodation. As said in previous comments; the rear entrance from the car park, the hotel reception and the stair carpet leave a little to be desired....

Visited during half term and came here one night without a booking. Chloe was superb in sorting a table for us, in fact all the staff were lovely. The food was great and plenty of choice for me as a vegetarian. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Stayed this weekend as I was going to a wedding nearby. There are just 6 rooms which sit above a pub/restaurant. The host was very welcoming and personally showed us to our room. The room was spacious and very clean and had sky TV including sports which is a nice touch. Tea/coffee in the room was good and included proper...

Sunday lunch here was recommended so we booked for the dining room. Both dining room and bar are very light and airy. Both were full so a good atmosphere. Choice of roast beef, pork or turkey, with nut roast option. Service was friendly and efficient. My husband ordered beef, and asked for it 'rare'. It was spot-on, which isn't always...

As usual flying about trying to find some accommodation, quite a bit of confusion trying to get checked in, as it appeared unusual to be a walk in customer rather than a booking.com client, Haggled a bit with the owner , who to be fair seems to be a good host , took 2 rooms, very nice , had an...

The Aggie is an unpretentious place. It has clean and comfortable rooms and serves a very good cooked breakfast. The staff are friendly and accommodating if you want to vary what is on the menu. We enjoy our stays here because you can relax and take your time.

St Agnes was at the top of our agenda for a quick visit en route to our daughter's wedding in Lamorna. We wanted to see the beautiful views that "Poldark" has brought to our screens but our visit also coincided with lunchtime. The St Agnes Hotel was convenient and the weather conducive to sitting outside watching life in this very...

My husband and I spent one night here and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our visit. The rooms were clean and recently renovated, the location in St. Agnes is terrific, the bar is friendly and our full Cornish breakfast delightful. The staff was so friendly from booking to check out - I wish we could have stayed longer. Loved it.

We spent the evening in this lovely country pub. Such a warm atmosphere & everyone was very welcoming. We were seated straight away and the manager took our drinks order promptly. The menu had a great variety, definitely something for everyone! We chose to have the burgers and were not left disappointed. The Manager Lily checked if we were happy...
