Very clean hotel. Friendly staff. A lot of coach noise outside our room on more than one occasion. It is clearly popular with coach holidays as there were two coach loads of residents staying whilst we were there. It is probably very good value if you are on a coach trip but as independant travellers we found it to be... More

St Agnes is a lovely and interesting place to stay. But it always puzzles me how a place like this still attracts a clientele, as it obviously does, from the enthusiastic reviews here and in the visitors' book on the front desk. Not everyone wants or can afford the sort of country house hotel that lays on banquets or weddings.... More

As always a very warm welcome from owners and staff. Spent a week here once again, quaint and quirky. Fantastic breakfast and lovely dinners with plenty of choice. Nightly salad Buffet too. ALways a vegetarian choice and some traditional deserts. Pool T a nice temperature but not too hot and also a hot tub. Lots of parking and great carnival... More

This is a lovely listed building situated in a beautiful village on the North Cornish coast. The family run hotel is a short walk from the beach and the rest of the village is close by. As the hotel is listed, it has retained some of the original features which is nice to see. The staff are always friendly and... More

The hotel is a good base for visiting Cornwall. It has lovely secluded gardens, ideal for relaxing on a nice evening. The interior of the hotel is within keeping with the building. Our room was of a decent size with plenty of storage space, we only had a three quarter size bed which we found comfortable but a bit cramped.... More

We enjoyed 5 nights at this very pleasant hotel, welcoming and competent staff and secluded location. Superb lounges, very good food on the table d'hote menu and charming young waitresses in the restaurant. Recommend it wholeheartedly.

Just spent 5 lovely days at this hotel, the staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful. We were there on a coach tour and unlike some hotels we've stayed , here we were treated as valued guests, everything was the same as the private guest. The menu was excellent, with a good choice on every course, the food was well... More
