You would have to go to the ends of the earth to find a nicer B&B than Cooperage. It is an absolute jewel, from the welcoming pot of tea and slice of freshly baked cake to the fluffy towels, the power shower, the scrumptious breakfasts and the very comfortable beds. You get touches that not even a five-star hotel will...

We stayed at Cooperage for a new year break. We were welcomed warmly by Lyn and offered tea and cake as soon as we were settled. The room was spotless and very comfortable with a very roomy bathroom and one of the best power showers we have come across! The use of a fridge on the landing was a lovely...

We only had one night in St Austell so we were delighted on arrival to be greeted with a warm welcome from Lyn, the owner. Our room was lovely, spotless, warm and plenty of tea/coffee! We had tea in the conservatory with home made cake within half an hour of arriving and felt like home from home. Would recommend to...

I pleaded with Lynn to adopt me after our two day break in St Austell staying at the Cooperage. The place is fantastic and has set an unbeatable bar for hospitality, warmth and friendliness for all UK B&B's. From the warm and friendly greeting including tea and cake, to the lovely fresh baked cake that we received up on leaving...

We were greeted with a big welcoming smile from Lyn as we pulled onto their drive which set the tone for the next 4 days. She made us tea immediately & served up a delicious piece of cake too. Just as all the other reviewers have said the whole place was spotless but with lovely flowers dotted around and loads...

Very clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and first rate service including the proprietor's offer to drive guests to local restaurants for evening meals/drinks leaving them to take a taxi back to the hotel. Would be a must if evening meals were on offer.
