We had booked to go to Cornwall for the week leaving on the Monday but as the weather was so lovely decided to leave a day earlier, booking into The Arches. We where so pleased to be met by a lovely lady on arrival and her beautiful dog Merlin. We was made to feel at home and the B&B itself...

We chose the Arches as our base for a 3 day sightseeing trip around Cornwall. The location was ideal although on a noisy main road. Nikki does a wonderful job as hostess and makes you feel welcome in her home. The room we had was compact but comfortable and well suited our needs. Breakfast was a treat with an extensive...

We stayed at the Arches for our Cornwall walking holiday and it proved very friendly and comfortable. The most important aspect of our stay was the friendly or even homely feel to it. That is also the reason why we choose to stay in a B&B rather than in a hotel. The landlady Nikki and her friend and family are...

Very friendly family run B & B. Very comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and the full English was lovely. Easy walk into the centre of St Austell and nice quiet location. Highly recommended 😀

Arches b&b is situated near to the town of St Austell. Nick was a good host, comfortable beds, great breakfast with a good choice, something for everyone. We have stayed at the Arches twice now and it's central for the Eden project and the lost gardens of Heligan.

We can highly recommend The Arches as a comfortable place to stay in Cornwall. Super breakfast, comfortable beds, mini fridge in the room and a warm welcome. Located a five minute walk from the centre of St Austell it's ideal as a place to stay.

Loved the character of this house. Nikki the owner was very friendly and helpful! The bed was comfy and the space of the room was uterlised well. Only issue is parking there are only a few spaces in a very tight uphill entrance but I know this is an ongoing problem this area. Would definitely recommend for a short stay.

What a lovely Surprise! A bedroom complete with four poster bed and en-suite spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated we did enjoy our three day stay here. Nicki, the owner, made us very welcome and provided an excellent breakfast, we did enjoy the 'help yourself' toast and coffee. As an added bonus we made the aquaintance of Merlin, a splendid Alsatian...

Absolutely lovely stay, very welcoming, friendly, hospitable landlady. Well trained edition to the b&b Merlin the Alsatian pup is so well behaved, loving and friendly, he doesn't bother you, very respectful of visitors (this is from a person whose extremely apprehensive of dogs). The flat is superb for a family or a group of friends. The rooms were a good...
