After booking tickets for a concert at the Eden Project, thought it would be nice to stay over. Coming from Dawlish it took about an hour an half and we found it really easy to get too. Its not overly "fancy" but clean, friendly, quiet and very inviting. A lovely courtyard opposite the little house where the 3 rooms available...

Spent a lovely night at Sedgemoor Heights after a gig at the Eden project. We had 2 rooms, the maids room (2 single beds) and the butlers room (a double room). Both were en suite, and nicely and quirkily decorated. As has been mentioned before, breakfast was excellent. Plenty to choose from and piping hot. The proprietor Ray has a...

Very nice B & B in a good location with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room was clean and well kitted out. Ray, the owner, was very welcoming and cooked a nice full English breakfast. Anybody who is into their music would enjoy a chat with Ray. All in all a very good experience.

Nice and quiet but quite small room. The B&B itself was also very small, only three guest rooms. Ray was very nice and informative. He told us about lots of interesting places around the area and gave us a lots of tips. There were also lots of information and leaflets in the premises. The breakfast time was definetely too early...

I'm sorry we only have 3 rooms. If I'd known you were no happy with the room allocated, I could have offered you the Nursery, which is the largest room in the building! There are pictures of all the rooms on the internet to give potential guests an idea of what the rooms are like. I hope you enjoyed the...

If you are looking for a place to stay that is exactly like every other place you've stayed in the UK this is not the place for you! If you want character, conversation, a proper home cooked breakfast and music tips then definitely give Ray a call. You get the feeling you are staying in someone's home but without feeling...

Thanks for this review: can I steal it to use on my web-site? Your review title sums us up perfectly; I have no aspirations to be a Travelodge. A Travelodge is a Travelodge and you know exactly what you'll get; a bed and breakfast is what it says but each place is different, that's the whole point. Thanks again.

Lovely lovely host. But room looked very tired. Ray took time to show us where everything was, full of knowledge on music, very interesting. The bed and bedding was tired and uncomfortable , but breakfast was nice with homemade bread lovely.

Sorry I couldn't compete with your previous luxurious accommodations. I'm pleased you enjoyed the breakfast, though!

Although on a main road, there is off road parking for 3 cars which is the number of rooms this beautiful house has. The rooms are at the back of the house, but separate from the main part of house. Ray has opened up his dining room in the main house for us to have breakfast in, which was lovely...

Happy folk, glad you enjoyed your stay and the "nautical" room. Hope to see you in 2016. Many thanks for your very "warm" view.

Room was fine. Bed a bit squeaky. Ray was friendly and very chatty and managed breakfasts for everyone well. We all sat at big table so great for exchange of info. House has character - a bit uncared for outside but perhaps this is because it is the end of the season. It is very close to town centre shops...

Glad you enjoyed your stay and discovered Moustache Jacks! Several new eateries have opened up in town this year; must confess we have only tried a few. Information from guests is always welcome; I'll pass on good and bad news! It's great there is a variety to choose from: different food styles and different clientele being targeted. Regarding the bed,...

Ray the owner is a chatty man, but moaning and groaning about everything for half an hour on arrival wasn't the welcome we wanted. Garden at front of property is all overgrown and the paint on front of house is faded and peeling. Doesn't look like the place is lived in. Half eaten bowl of dog food on entrance to...
