This hotel has got a big problem with their fire alarm system. I have stayed there four times and on two occasions the fire alarm went off. The fire brigade came and it turned out to be a false alarm. No apologies were given on either occasion. The breakfast is poor value for money. Some of the rooms have got...

Thank you for your comments. Its always difficult to comment on a fire alarm incident, procedure was followed and although an inconvenience, really is there for your safety. I apologize if one of the team did not apologize to you personally, once the all clear is given, guests usually disperse quite quickly...but I also know the reboot procedure for the...

Myself and family love this hotel and returned numerous times. Perfect place for a relaxing few days and base to explore more of Cornwall. Gorgeous relaxing pool and spa, and beautiful bar and restaurant! Breakfast is fantastic! We have been as a couple and also with the whole family including two young children. Although definitely more an adults hotel they...

I stayed here 2 nights on business and loved The Cornwall. It's a stunning hotel in beautiful grounds. Rooms are chic, well appointed and have lovely big balconies with scenic views. The gym and spa are very well equipped and the whole place has a luxury feel to it. I didn't eat at the restaurant so can't comment on that...

Thank you for your comments. It is that time of year when the estate is waking up from winter, we are busily cleaning balconies, gardening etc for the new season, I am sorry you were in a room we haven't reached yet...there are only a few left to do. It is also the time we are taking on our Summer...

Firstly the hotel. Set in lovely grounds with free parking. Fast, efficient check in, the feel of the hotel was modern and boutique. I got an excellent price from the hotels website that included use of the spa. The room was large with an outside terrace/balcony with seating and table. The bathroom was also large with a modern suite and...

Thank you for your comments. I am happy you enjoyed the hotel and I apologize on the restaurant's behalf for the room service. I feel the problem with your room service could have been a timing issue, (length of time the food is on the hotplate and time taken to deliver) which is something I will look into as nothing...

We booked here as they were doing a '3 nights for the price of 2' offer - meaning we only paid £260 for 3 nights B&B in a Luxury room for 2 people! Our luxury room was a big room, with a massive bed (and SO comfortable!), balcony (unfortunately we could not use it as the Cornish weather wasn't on...

Had a two night secret escapes break. Arrived at the hotel and was given the key to our superior room. The room however had a strange musty/damp smell. Reception was very helpful and immediately changed our room. The next room had no such problem. The room overall was really good. Very clean, spacious, comfy large bed. The only 2 minor...

We got a cheap deal for an overnight stay off one of the broker sites. In general terms, I can't fault the hotel, lovely staff, nice quiet room, easy to park. However there is a big chink in the armour. The spa is in a separate building which is a minor niggle. I liked the free facilities at the spa,...

Thank you for your comments. I am pleased you enjoyed a your break here at the hotel. Naturally, I am disappointed in your experience in the restaurant, serving over 500 meals a week is a testament to our usually good strike rate as are the comments sprinkled through the other reviews. But, if we failed to live up to expectation,...

Had a really good stay here recently with family. The hotel is well presented and pleasing to arrive to. There is ample free parking; it's a short walk with your luggage from the car park(s) to the hotel but there are a few drop off spaces right by reception. Our rooms weren't quite ready yet so we had a drink...
