We have just returned from a week staying in Lovedays cottage and have already booked to go again next year. Lovely cottage and facilities. Our little boy particularly enjoyed the pool and the play house. It's a great location. We especially enjoyed the lost gardens of heligan and gorran haven beach.

We absolutely loved our holiday to Tregongeeves. We stayed in Lovedays which is a beautiful two bedroom upside down cottage. It has a lovely fenced courtyard garden which gets the afternoon/evening sun so we enjoyed a couple of barbecue’s! The facilities at Tregongeeves are fantastic. Being able to book (write your cottage name daily on the whiteboard) to use the swimming pool and hot tub to yourselves is a luxury and COVID safe! The pool is warm and not too deep so perfect for children. The recreation barn provides so many toys for the children to play with, as well as table tennis, air hockey, pool table, puzzles, DVD’s and books. We managed to have a hot drink in peace whilst our two children played! There is also a brilliant outdoor wendy house, swings, a slide, ride on toys and a tennis court. And then finally, the animals! We loved seeing the animals everyday. We would save our food scraps to feed the two pigs. Our children enjoyed feeding the chickens a few times with Judith (especially picking their own egg!). The horses, donkeys and sheep were lovely to visit too. Bonnie the dog became our children’s best friend during our holiday. They loved giving her tummy rubs! She is such a gentle dog. Judith and John provide so much - scones, jam, cream, sausages, bacon, eggs, milk, tea, sugar, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, oil, hand soap, toilet rolls, kitchen roll, charcoal and much more. It was also very helpful to have a washing machine in the cottage and an airer to dry clothes (also access to tumble driers - we were lucky with warm weather though!). The beds in the cottage were so comfortable. We all slept incredibly well! Thank you to Judith for all of your recommendations for days out! So many lovely beaches all within a short drive and many of the car parks are national trust so free for members! We also visited pretty harbour towns, caught the ferry from St Mawes to Falmouth and hired bikes for the Camel Trail. We visited their daughters cafe (Trevithick Farm Shop and Cafe) - we enjoyed delicious coffee and cake there! There is a booklet in the recreation barn for nearby walks and we completed a 3 mile walk around Luxulyan - a very interesting walk, free parking and we picked up Cornish pasties (again thank you to Judith for the idea!) so we had a nice picnic on the walk. We also had a delicious evening meal at The Polgooth Inn. We love the location of Tregongeeves - it’s brilliant access to many days out, it has many amenities nearby, all whilst being within Cornish countryside! The good thing about this holiday is you have the option to do days out, but because there’s so many facilities on site, you can easily spend days there too! We all felt sad to leave and can honestly say it’s the best UK holiday we’ve had. Whilst we were there we even booked to come back for next year! We fully understand why many people return year after year. We all feel fully relaxed, happy, and a little bloated (too many goodies!). We are already counting down the days for our return here next year!

Thank you Harris family for the glowing review of your holiday with us in Lovedays, with the beautiful weather you were able to take advantage of all our recommendations . Will pass on the review to the team as without them all we wouldn’t have a Tregongeeves. Look forward to seeing you in 2022 will keep the animals safe until then Judith

We've just had a fantastic family holiday to Tregongeeves and wish we were still there! We stayed 7 nights in Lovedays cottage. The cottage was perfect with bedrooms downstairs with the bathroom (shower, not bath), and kitchen/living upstairs. The cottage was immaculate, as was the whole site. We were welcomed with delicious scones and had milk and butter and some fresh eggs and sausages too. The location of the cottages couldn't have been better. We didn't travel further than 25 minutes to anywhere all week, which was a blessing having travelled a long way to the holiday. Judith recommended two beaches and a ferry trip, and all three days out were great. I particularly liked Gorran Haven beach. We also did Heligan Gardens and Eden Project. Lots on for kids at Heligan as it was summer holidays. We used the pool at Tregongeeves most days and they had a booking system for an hours time slot which worked very well indeed. The pool was again, immaculate. The kids loved it! There is also a playbarn - my 4 year old liked the toys downstairs and my 8 year old liked the pool table, air hockey and ping pong upstairs. The kids made friends which they met at the playbarn in the evenings. There are DVDs to borrow. We helped Judith feed the animals on three mornings and also took the pigs and chickens leftovers after tea. They were a lot of fun and a lovely addition. Plus the eggs were delicious. Overall, it was a 5 star holiday and I would highly recommend a visit. Judith and John are excellent hosts and they well deserve all the amazing reviews. Thank you both x

Can not rate this high enough. Done to a high standard in an amazing setting and the owners couldn’t be more helpful. Very clean, with everything you could possibly need (even down to silver foil and cling film!). Cream tea’s, sugar/milk/tea bags and full English ingredients there for you on arrival. So much for the kids or even the adults. Pool, games room, and animals to feed. Plenty of local beeches to visit. Definitely well worth a visit, and you are sure to visit more than once if you do.

Just amazing lovely place. Stayed in corner cottage. Just lovely. Arrived to have eggs, bacon and sausages for a breakfast. Cream tea also provided but above all a wonderful welcome. Great base for exploring and would highly recommend the cottages as a great place to stay. Swimming pool and play barn with extra info on the area plus table tennis, air hockey and pool available. Well worth the 8 hour drive and highly reccomended

Thank you so much for taking the time to review your recent stay with us in Corner Cottage. This is a popular cottage as it has everything you need and an enclosed courtyard. You fitted in a lot in your few days despite the long drive and the inclement weather. Judith
