Our first wekend away as a couple was made perfect by the warm welcome at the Gwyndra House B&B. The room was large and comfortable and the hospitality equalled this. We have no problem in recommending this B&B to others.

Just had three nights at the wonderful Gwyndra House. We were so well looked after by Jackie and Jim - one could not wish for better hosts! The room we stayed in (the yellow room) was light and airy and extremely comfortable, the en-suite bathroom was spotlessly clean. There was plenty of room for all our gear. Having a safe...

We had a lovely stay at Gwyndra House. It's in a great location with the bus stop right next to the B&B and the train station 1 min walk away. Jackie and Jim were brilliant hosts and the breakfast was great. V comfortable beds especially for anyone with back problems as there are memory foam mattresses. We hope to return...

My friend and I stayed at Gwyndra for four nights in September. The breakfast was great with Jackie's amazing porridge - she adds dried fruit! I asked for poached eggs too and with the toast, bacon, mushrooms, etc, I was set for sightseeing to the Eden Project. Gwyndra is so convenient to the bus stop across the road for a...

We spent two nights at Gwyndra. The reception by Linda was excellent and the room, with en suite bathroom, was extremely comfortable with everything one could wish for. The shower would be big enough for four! We are light eaters at breakfast so could not sample much of the range on offer, but what we ate was well prepared and...

Charming and welcoming owners; comfy room; lovely breakfast. Especially good if travelling alone and by public transport as very close to station and bus stops to Eden and Heligan etc. St Austell is not a very picturesque place but a few passable places to eat within walking distance. I would unhesitatatingly recommend this B & B.

Gwyndra House was much closer to the station than I expected, which was just as well because it was raining when I arrived. Jackie and Jim were very welcoming and made me a much needed cup of tea as soon as I got there. The breakfasts were very good and included kippers as an option. Very few B&Bs seem to...

My husband and I arrived after a short, easy walk from the train station in the pouring rain. Jackie and her husband greeted us warmly and offered us a hot drink to warm up. Jackie was very accommodating and had every bus schedule and tourist/information pamphlet you could ask for! She even knew the next several days' weather forecast and...
