A family get together for New Year's Eve 2016 was mandated and a small miracle happened: the family got together in a lovely cottage on a beautifully sturdy Cornish working farm. Cart Horse Cottage was excellent: clean, sensibly furnished, comprehensively equipped (well, there was a corkscrew which was, after all, the main thing) and peaceful. We got there much later...

We found this wonderful place completely by chance, looking for a honeymoon in the UK. The decision was the best we could have made; the room was huge, comfortable and the perfect place to explore the locality. The view; changing through the day and night was captivating and we spent hours simply sat wondering at the changing light and sea....

What a wonderful place which is off the beaten track, Jo and Jean charming hosts. Our room looked out to Looe and Looe island and out to sea. You are spoilt for choice with breakfast, and nothing was too much trouble. Spotless accommodation, best family run B&B ever. The large farmhouse which was built in the 1850s has been tastefully...

We stayed in the horseshoe cottage in the summer holidays last year. Four adults two children and to babies. Everything we needed was there, lovely area in front of the cottage for the children to play, very nice family that ran the b&b and the cottages. Will stay again next time we visit Cornwall.

We stayed in The Hayloft self catering cottage from 1st to 5th October. Wonderful place to stay, with lots of room for seven of us. The kitchen was fantastic, fully equipped, and we all loved the ice maker in the fridge. Spotlessly clean, with cosy bedrooms with comfy beds.

3 miles from Looe which can be seen from the garden of this excellent accommodation. A very comfortable and clean room with a modern en-suite. A warm welcome from Jo and a great choice for breakfast. I highly recommend this B&B and we shall certainly return next year.

This was our second stay at Bucklawren farmhouse B & B, but it certainly won't be our last. The rooms are equipped with everything you could conceivably imagine you'll need for a short break. The beds are extremely comfortable and immaculately clean, as are the en suite facilities. And all this with a wonderful view over Looe. A full English...

We stayed at the Bucklawren for 8 days at the end of August. Jo and her Mum made us really welcome. The room was spacious and although there were three of us we weren't on top of one another. The shower was excellent and the view of Looe in the distance was spectacular. We had a lovely walk into Looe...

Our delightful cottage was first class, dog friendly, clean, modern, well equipped and contained everything you would require for a self catering holiday. In addition there was plenty of information provided regarding local amenities and attractions. The owner was extremely helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend these cottages to anyone wanting a place to relax...
