A beautiful pub with extremely friendly and helpful staff. As it rained outside I sat inside by a roaring fire and made lego whilst drinking a wonderful bottle of red wine. The rooms are warm and comfortable with all the mod cons. I adore this place.

We visited on a Sunday lunchtime. The landlord was very welcoming, and there was a very good choice of food available. Real fire going, and the ambience within was very good. Food was fresh, and tasty, and served in a good time. Overall - very good.

So pleased to find somewhere offering food on a winters Monday night and a real bonus to find The Top House. The service was great, the food fantastic and the locals welcoming & friendly. Good menu and specials board all reasonably priced. Our Liver and Cajun chicken was excellent. Good selection of well kept St Austell beers. Discovered that they...

A really great place from which to explore this wonderful, most southerly point of the county. Truly comfortable room that was just perfect for our family. Lovely double bed with bunk beds for the children. Exceptionally clean and warm with everything that was needed for our late Autumn trip 'down west'. The traditional Cornish pub was lovely, with well looked...

Over our three day stay we were made to feel at ease by staff and locals and all the food, three breakfasts and dinners, were lovely, well cooked and filling. The staff were polite and friendly at all times. We will defiantly use this inn again when...

My husband and I recently spent three nights in this lovely Inn. The term - "Warm and Friendly greeting awaits" comes to mind when I think of this little gem. The Inn has only eight rooms and the one that we occupied was very spacious as was the bathroom. A comfy bed, arm chairs, tea and coffee making facilities -...

My husband and I popped in for some lunch and loved the proper pub atmosphere the place brings. We had baguettes and they were delicious! Bread seemed freshly baked and the best we've had for a long time. Would definitely recommend a visit.
