Stopped by the New Inn for lunch during a long circular walk of the area. Having read previous reviews we were very disappointed. Food was average but very expensive. We had 2 large cokes and two filled baguettes and the bill was over £25.00.

We were staying close by, and dined here one evening. The landlord was very friendly and accommodating (the pub was booked and busy, but we were able to be fitted in), some of the locals chatted easily; we felt most welcome here. St Austell ales...More

Excellent food, we dined there twice in our week visit, excellent service even the music was excellent, I highly recommend this for its local food, great warmth and old world charm. The Beer is a bit pricey but you leave not begrudging the outlay. We...More

Best contact point is by telephone - Mike M's reply - the owners and staff are very helpful, particularly if they are fully booked and you need alternative accommodation. The Twin room is larger than the Double.
