After a hard day's drive, we stopped here for an overnight stay. Check-in was friendly and helpful, with the invitation to dine in their bar/bistro area. So we set up our room - large, clean, country style, and with the prettiest outlook over the adjoining golf course - then we popped into the bistro. This is simply a small casual... More

If you are looking for a five star hotel with all of the trimmings, then this isnt the place for you. But if you are, like we were, looking for somewhere clean, well appointed, friendly and welcoming, then the Berrigan Motel might just be the right place for you! The rooms are comfortable and clean and simply appointed. We were... More

Great bed, great attitude by Joe the owner who cooked us a beautiful steak. Beer was cold, room was clean and very well appointed with plenty of tea, coffee etc and a very handy 2nd sink and food preparation work bench. We will definitely stay again. Good value at $95 a night. Berrigan is a very friendly town worthwhile to... More

We found this motel very over priced at $150.00 per night. It was a nice big room but the but needed a good clean, it had Bindi seeds in the carpet which did not help matters. I sent an email to the manager to complain didn't even get a reply. If we had to stay in Berrigan again it would... More

No wifi available. Bed was very very comfortable however and seemed the cleanest part of the whole room (and that's saying something) the bugs were everywhere and a fly was surrounded by maggots in the bathroom. The shower pressure was great. Needs to get new carpet or just some tiles instead. Also a good clean up would be welcomed.

Tired old motel. No breakfast as no commercial kitchen. The last time I stayed the then manager had provided the most fantastic full cooked breakfast. Rooms basic, thank heavens for the electric blanket. Air con hopeless. Windows needed cleaning and in fact a good tidy up would no go a miss. Payment is in advance only and various discounts are... Regarding the kitchen, regulations are constantly changing and what was possible in the past is not currently possible. We do provide on-site continental breakfast options which were explained to you. You chose not to purchase the on-site option as is your right. Upon receiving your complaint regarding the split system heater it was tested and found to be blowing air... More

A very poorly advertised property, but when one does find it, just a slightly scruffy appearance outside. More alarm bells rang when Reception (without being asked) told us we could get Breakfast down the Street. First impressions of the room were good - large and seemingly clean. After that ... ! It was a cool evening, and the air conditioner... More

It is disappointing to read your review given that your partner gave quite positive feedback on departure in addition to raising a few concerns, which were answered at the time. However, I will answer them again below. The Heater: it had been trsted the previous week and again following your stay. The temperature of the air coming out of the... More

Room was very clean and comfortable Quiet place to stay next to golf club. Would say it is overpriced for what you get. Don't eat at the golf club next door unless you want to wait for ever. Service at reception was friendly and helpful.
