This was a great choice for accommodation. It was a good price and the rooms were self contained with a sofa, table and chairs, microwave, cutlery and crockery, everything you could need. The warning bells went off however when we discovered three different heaters in the room. This is an older building and is clearly poorly insulated. And it was...

The meal at Briars was of a high standard. The choice was excellent and the salad bar was a highlight. My Baramundi was done to perfection. I found when ordering some drinks that I needed to be more specific.

Very old heritage inn converted to a restaurant. Sitting outside with the sun hitting your back is lovely. Quite big meals at average prices. Soup of the day was lovely, barramundi and chips was also very nice. Wine is quite expensive though. $9-11 a glass. Bookings for larger groups is a good idea.

We booked at Briars based on photos we saw on wotif.com. In particular, one of the photos showed a nice kitchen with a stove, oven and microwave oven. We brought our own eggs and bacon accordingly. We arrived to find no cooking facilities in our room. When we questioned the reception staff, we were told that only one of the...

Stopped here for a weekend lunch with the family and it was excellent. Children were well catered for, the place had a great atmosphere and lunch was also very good. As a family-oriented country pub I really couldn't fault it.

Briars Country Lodge Had trouble finding suitable Accommodation in the area and ended up having to take a 3 bed room apartment. The apartment is upstairs above reception (not suitable for disabled guests). All other units are on the ground floor. The apartment is nice, spacious, fully self contained, with platinum level Foxtel. The only negative comment I would make...

Don't go here if you are expecting a peaceful quite stay the accommodation is next to their function center and the music thumped away until the early hours both nights we stayed and then there was the loud party goers smoking and yelling just outside our room. After bring staffs attention to the noise following the first nights lack of...

The staff here were excellent and offered first class service, nothing was too much trouble for them. The grounds surrounding the Inn were kept in very good condition and very pleasing, so much so I felt I was in an English estate. The room was very clean and well furnished with a table and two chairs, lounge, 2 king sized...

The room was quite spacious and comfortable with a couch(pull out bed) and a small table and chairs. There were also a toaster, kettle, and crockery. The room gave a nice outlook on the lawn and lake. We stayed there to attend the Brigadoon Scottish Highland Gathering. An ideal location if Bundanoon accommodation is booked out. It is a 25...

Perfect overnight (or longer) accomodation to explore the Southern Highlands. A small distance from the centre of Bowral (car required) Casual, inexpensive and quiet. Lovely grounds Comfortable bed, fantastic shower (lots of hot water). Would recommend for its price, cleanliness and general comfortability.
