Not a bad park, could use more slab sites though. About a 10-15 minute walk into town, which isn't too bad as you don't have to walk along the main road heading in. The path is dirt, so could be a pain if wet weather is hanging around. Not sure why they allocated all of the river sites to tents...

A modern, well-equipped, dog-friendly, well-grassed park on the banks of the Brunswick River. We could hear the highway traffic, but it was not loud enough to cause a disturbance. Five minute drive into the township. Great for a bike ride or walk! The dog-friendly beach was amazing!

Very neat park. Amenities modern and clean. Nice spot by the river BUT... the highway noise is atrocious! Goes 24/7. Such a shame. Spots at the very back of park may be a little better however, when we were there, they'd had a lot of rain recently and sites were very soggy.

A great caravan park right on the Brunswick River and a short walk to the co-op and a slightly longer walk to the pub and beach. The park is pet friendly - hope it stays that way as not all people had their dogs on leads - and the amenities were very modern. The only negative is the noise from...

Hi Cath C We really appreciate you taking the time to write a review for us. Unfortunately the minority can ruin things for the majority and not restrain their pets as they are requested to upon check in, we try to manage this as closely as possible though. The highway can be bothersome at times but hope the beautiful location...

Amenities are clean even have dog wash, a Little cramped on sites been back to back with a meter apart, water and powered sites close to the river. Camping only along the river. Some concrete pads to set up on, ask apron booking. Highway noise at night a little unbearable as we have no noise were we live in the...

Hi David J Many thanks for taking the time to review our park on TripAdvisor. The dog wash is a great addition to the park and we find it is one of the most used facilities we have - outside of the toilets and showers of course ;) We hope that you were still able to get some sleep at...

Very well maintained caravan park. Excellent facilities. Beautiful river on your doorstep. We felt like we were the only customers without a dog, so it is very dog friendly. You could hear the traffic noise slightly but only when it was very quiet in the van.

This is our 4th or 5th year coming to this park which tells you how much we love it. Our stay started at 4 weeks and has grown to 6 weeks. We don't have a dog anymore but one of our group we meet up with does. We still prefer to stay here as it is definitely the best park...

It is certainly a pleasure when we have such lovely people like yourselves stay at the park for an extended period of time. It really does make our job so much more easier and enjoyable to have the park full of great people. We look forward to having you in the park for many more years to come.

No bells and whistles but close proximity to river gets the kids out to swim explore and fish. The amenities are spotless, the sites spacious and the undercover barbque area appreciated. The only drawback is the traffic noise over the bridge at night. The proprietors were pleasant and helpful and it is in walking distance to town shops and then...

Will never return here again. Originally booked here in October 2015, cancelled due to husband having accident. Told no $50 deposit could be refunded without charging $30 administration fee. So decided to rebook for 2016. Finally arrived in March very excited. Park looked lovely, clean & tidy. Told on arrival to just make sure when we set up tent, to...

We couldn't help be disappointed when reading your comments on your recent stay here in our park. When a person checks into one of the waterfront campsites we have very particular instructions that are given out to ensure all of our guests comply with government legislations. We also have to ensure that we abide by conditions of our operating licence...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
With the beautiful Brunswick River at its doorstep and magnificent Mt Chincogan as its backdrop, Ferry Reserve Holiday Park makes the most of its dramatic setting. Named after its location, the site of the first ferry to cross the river, this park is a safe and accessible place for swimming, snorkeling and kayaking. Because it has its own boat ramp - the only park in this area to do so - it is the obvious choice for the committed fisherman or boater. Brunswick Heads with its patrolled surf beach and vibrant cafes is only a three minute drive away. Or, for a safe and healthy family outing, there is a dedicated path/cycleway to town that does not cross any major roads. ... more   less
