Friendly staff and good location. The room was alright although it didn't have a bin and bed wasn't particularly comfortable. Common area was nice especially the hammocks outside. The worst part was the toilets. They were mixed male and female and were dirty and smelly the entire time I was there.

We spent a weekend in BB and so stayed one night at Nomads. Ambiance was very good (on a Sunday night) in the huge "playing" area with tables outside. You're allowed to drink alcohol which I found forbidden in most of the backpackers I stayed in... Room & bed sheets were very clean, same for bathroom & toilets. That's what...

Enjoyed my visit here to Byron bay. Hostel was very clean and had fitted air conditioning which was also very nice. Wifi only works downstairs however this wasn't a problem for me. I'm a fantastic location near the beach and in the middle of the town centre.

I stayed here for 3 nights. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Lots of sockets and a balcony. Kitchen was big and well stocked but the hobs were so bad it took me 30mins to fry a veggie burger. These really need to be fixed! You can drink in the hostel until 10...

Nice modern hostel. Good location, 5 mins to the beach, right on the Main Street for bars restaurants and shops and there's an Aldi underneath for food shopping. The kitchen facilities are good. I stayed in an 8 bed dorm with en suite and balcony. They also have communal toilets and showers. They do some activities within the hostel like...

Stinky rooms, doors don't lock, a/c doesn't work, small and dirty kitchen, dirty bathrooms, dirty blankets and 99% disrespectful party people who like to screw around and drink all day/night long (also the staff!!)! If you want cheap and quick sex this is the right place for you! If you are a REAL traveller please don't come here! Waste of...

stayed here in october and thought the place was quality to be honest. the rooms and toilets were immaculate, there didn't seem to be many strict rules on who could come in and who couldn't- anyone could even if you weren't staying there, which i thought was brilliant! there was no 'lights out' rule, we were all making noise till...

Dirty bathrooms, very loud (party every night), dirty and small kitchen and not very helpful staff. As all the other Nomads, the wifi is only free in the lobby and only until 7 pm. Good aspects: Central, right next to Aldi

Traveling with my girlfriend and both enjoyed our 2 night stay. Rep meets you at bus stop and explains things to do. Walk o the light house about 40 mins walk but we'll worth it. Decent hostel, air con decent would recommend for couples and groups of friends!

Me and a friend booked the deluxe room which had an ensuite. The bathroom was fairly modern and the hostel is in a great location, walking distance to all the cafes, bars and beach and we had a bed bid enough to sleep three of us. Our room was smelly and could definitely use an air freshener as the window...
