We like this hostel mainly because of staffs. Nice people really chill out place. Nice tv room aswell. It were really raining but we enjoyed the tv room & people drinking made it fun. Nicest staffs help us with drive into Byron! Really friendly place .

We stayed here a week ago & it was good, the rooms were fairly modern & clean, the staff were cool. It was a bit of a walk away but the bus runs regularly. Nice chilled vibe, we extended twice. Recommended here & arts factory .

This is located a bit of a walk from town but they provide a shuttle bus to the beach and into town at night. It's a fun hostel and very friendly . It's set in a local housing estate. Some of the locals don't seem to like tourist too much even though we provide most of the income. Would recommend...

A little bit out of the way but they run a shuttle bus which is great! However the place is a little run down... My friend had some bits taken from the kitchen too! They allow you to take your own drinks which is great but there are more smokers than drinkers- not really an issue but we did feel...

The main positive of this hostel is that there's a free shuttle from the greyhound stop as the hostel is about a 20 minute walk from the centre of Byron. The hostel is very basic, the rooms and the bathrooms are not the cleanest - the mattress and pillows in the double room were pretty stained and dirty. Enjoy...

Cbl is great value! The hostel is a bit out of the citycentre, but they have a van to take you to town, every 30 mins or so. Also they have bicycles for lend, that way it's about 10 mins. There is a free pancake breakfast and free wifi, which is great. The rooms and shared spaces are fine. The...

Contrary to some of the reviews on here, I find the lodge to be pretty much ideal. If you want a good value place in Byron bay, filled with great people, then here you go. Located 2 minutes from Tallows (arguably the most beautiful beach EVER), and 5 minutes out of town (ideal for a good night's sleep), I think...

Yes, it's a bit out of town. If you aren't lazy it's no real fuss! If you are, then there is a free shuttle regularly. Seriously though, it's great value considering that (in winter) you get a free pancake, tea and coffee brekkie and free wifi all year round! Room was great (all girls 8 bed, met some great mates!)...

This hostel was my favorite going up the east coast in Aus. There is a laidback feel and everyone I met here was easy to get along with. The only real con is that the hostel is about 15-20 min walk from the township whereas most hostels are 5 min, but they do have a shuttle for you. Free wifi...
