First time to Byron bay. And this place was amazing. Love a good pub opposite a beach. Meals were huge great gluten free options. Would highly recommend this place. Great to chill and have a gold beer.

Came here on a weekend getaway with my wife and 6 month old for a late lunch. We had the Parmesan and truffle chips and a beetroot, haloumi and walnut salad with slow cooked lamb over. The salad was delicious with the lamb super tender. The chips were nice but seemed more like generic oven chips with lots of Parmesan...

Staff insulted several family members by laughing at IDs. I consider this bullying and totally unacceptable. This was done by a bar staff member with a security guard. You should be ashamed thinking you are superior in some way This shows your weakness. Never underestimate the value of the customer and the voice of the customer. We were a party...

Always have to visit this place when we stay in Byron. We love the atmosphere at night with the live bands and the great food. Bear in mind that it gets busy latter on so get there early (5 onwards) for a seat etc..

Drunken groups having parties by the pool, loud music and chain smoking from midday till sunset. Other hotel guests were clearly not as valued as any complaints were ignored. If you are after a bit of shush or fun with your young ones by the pool, go somewhere else. I will be.

Hi SuperSuez, This group were told numerous times to stop smoking by the pool and to respect our other in house guests, our humblest of apologies that this was not better enforced or followed through.

We did not use the accommodation but sat in the bar and had a meal. The atmosphere reflects all that is the lovely Byron Bay. Tourists and local all mingling. Close to the beach and the wide veranda provides shade and the chance for a breeze. Spend enough time there and you could feel like a local.

A must do destination for all in Byron Bay. Funky, cool vibe, incredible live music, stage, staff & atmosphere. As name says, right on the beach. Glorious view. Can get rather packed, but that's to be expected. I'd recommend getting there early on the wkds/holidays to ensure a prime table & or spot. Naturally the crowd gets younger at night....

Spent the day here and were subjected to 2 hours of bands doing their sound check. Had to leave with many others as security didnt like us expressing our opinion. Loved the acoustic duo. The chicken parma was not bad.

We were a little taken back by the price being low season $350/n and to be honest it's quiet an old facility. I wouldn't really call it a hotel it's more a motel. Rooms are large and clean and directly opposite the beach and right next door to the adjoined hotel/pub. Staff are super friendly and we're very helpful since...

Walking into this pub like hotel, we were greeted by some guy hanging over the rail and we found a nice table on the wdge of the inside area... with some nice views of the cobalt blue water. We settles on a produce platter(35$) which was plenty of food to share among 3 people. It was a bit of a...
