The Bank Hotel offers country style accommodation with a restaurant that caters for all the family. Great country food at a great country price. The front bar has a wood fire and the back bar has an open log fire, so will be nice and cosy on those winter days. Upstairs, rooms are air-conditioned, with share bath and shower facilities situated in each hallway. The hotel has a large balcony to take in views of the town. It is just a few minutes walk to the centre of town. The hotel has 25 rooms of clean comfortable accommodation with friendly service and reasonable rates.

I had ridden on my motorcycle into Dungog around 3.30pm and found that most of the cafes closed at 4:00pm, except the pizza restaurant and the two pubs. I had a peaceful and relaxing time at the Bank Hotel followed by a really delicious chicken and leek pie with cheese bread.

Good old fashioned country fare. Large air conditioned dining room with table service in corner pub. Street parking as town not very busy. Pleasant staff and reasonable prices. Other pub and restaurants in Dungog also.
