Super friendly staff and beautifully done pub accommodation. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Everything supplied for an enjoyable stay in Dungog at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended and certainly my pick of the accommodation available.

If you like a chef who understands food, not too crowded, amazingly good local produce, staff who know their trade and have great past experience. This is the pub for you. Accomodation is very clean, simple as pub should be but generous. A pub with heart, sophistication but completely relaxed

Loved our stay at the Settlers Arms. We felt really at home there. Our ensuite room was perfect, the bed was comfortable, there were plenty of little nooks to get comfortable in for conversation or just to settle down into with a book to read. Continental breakfast was good, bar service nice, with an interesting selection of beers. We had...

This is an old pub in town that I drank at during my youth, back then it was a beer soaked country pub. Now that it has been renovated and given some TLC it is one of the best places to stay at that I have ever used. Still has that country pub feel with very friendly staff and fantastic...

Recommended by some locals we didn't know this pub existed! First impressions were good, beer good, so we ordered a bruschetta to snack on, Lovely! Another whale beer from Murrays brewery, then from tapas menu we had the salt & pepper squid with a chilli jam, ooh so good!! So we had another beer & ordered our mains, schnitzel veal...

We recently spent a very pleasant night at the Settlers Arms in Dungog. Fiona on reception made us feel very welcome. Our room was very comfortable and easily accessible. We had an excellent dinner at the restaurant in the hotel, courtesy of chef Scott. We would happily stay and eat there again.

One night on business. Travel a lot but have never stayed in a pub before as they usually aren't appealing. Glad the only motel in Dungog was full otherwise I wouldn't have stayed at Settlers Arms and experienced it for the gem it is. Excellent hospitality. Great food. Reasonable selection of tap beers. Had a room with ensuite downstairs. Room...

We have previously stayed here before, downstairs and did not even realise there was an upstairs! 😊 downstairs was lovely, upstairs not so good. Our upstairs room was very basic (i will point out it was also only $80 a night so we weren't paying a lot), the double bed was very uncomfortable for us both (I know beds are...
