My 70 year old mother who has dementia attempted to make a booking via trivago for this property back in early February as she was looking to stay somewhere with my brother that air conditioning with a pool due to it being a unseasonably hot weekend. Before she had entered all her details the website gave her a message stating...

This review is an old one. I never write up poor reviews but after 18 months (July 2015) this place still lingers in my mind, so I'm hoping for closure. We booked this place as part of a one night stop on a Winter Road Trip up the NSW coast. The rest of our experience on this 4 week trip...

Premises are not wheel chair friendly (steps, narrow corridors, etc). Rooms are not air conditioned; "security sticks" in sliding windows to restrict opening windows. Parking is awkward (only saw room for three cars part way down steep slanting driveway). Shared bathroom and shared toilet on lower level was for all genders. Smoking was allowed on premises (saw & smelt smoker...

I was in Gosford for work for 2 weeks and an agent booked this accommodation for me. When I arrived, it felt like walking into somebody's home, as indeed it is a residence that is being used for a B&B. I was checked in under the carport at a table (next to a mobility scooter with a stuffed toy and...

Quite possibly the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in - The owner is rude and intrusive. Similar to other reviews on here, I was told by him to turn my TV down (even though it was on low volume), despite the people upstairs shouting and making so much noise, it sounded like the roof was going to come through...

Booked for three families who were travelling to Gosford for our children to play in a State Indoor Hockey Championship. Accommodation was clean and tidy and allows for self catering... could be interesting if you don't have the whole top floor booked and don't know the other people you are sharing with. Good our requirements, Laurie was helpful. Parking is...

Stayed as a group of 6 over a few nights while we attended Tough Mudder. Was close to the event which was great and convenient and was also close to a Coles, Dan Murphies and RSL. There were a few rules to avoid extra charges. Had to be over cautious with dirtiying the linen (i believe the owner has been...

When we arrived at Wombats Bed & Breakfast we were greeted by Laurie who showed us to a good size room with a TV, fridge, double bed and bunk bed. We were upgraded to a bigger room for the same price, and my 2 year old son & light sleeper husband had the best sleep ever. It was comfortable and...

A group of friends and I rented out the whole B&B for a week and I had a similar experience to other people leaving reviews here: - The owner Laurie lives in the house behind the B&B and comes in and out as he pleases - Charged us extra for everything possible (there is a kitchen upstairs and downstairs and...

When I arrived I was welcomed with a warm smile and lovely conversation. After sign in he took me on a tour of this homely warm comfortable b-n-b. The room was delightful just like home. The beds amazing and the doonas r so soft. In the morning I sat outside and enjoyed the sun near the pool. I came here...

“Prepare for left turn into sharp hairpin driveway of Wombats by counting house numbers to 144 when driving from West Gosford. Sometimes Brisbane Water Drive is quite busy. Rooms, referred to as 'Burrows', vary according to traveller needs - family, couple, single, etc: bunks + double; twin; double only. Manager very helpful.”
