Good choice for budget conscious travellers. Very well located on the main drag of Gundagai (Sheridan Street) and a few minutes walk from local Woolies and BWS, Services Club and a local Chinese. Also just over the road from the Visitor Information Centre and the coach terminal. Although it's on the main street, there was minimal traffic noise overnight. Very...

Late afternoon stop between Melbourne and Sydney. Found place clean tidy near food outlets off main road although highway by passes town. Rooms small however quiet and didn't hear cars leaving early morning.

Found this gem on trip advisor, well worth the stop. Drove in to a nice reception then saw solar panels all over the roofs what a great sight. The room was meticulously cleaned and presented very well. The only drawback was a dated TV. Though free wi-fi was fast enough for free view.

Vin and Mrs Merlot have stayed once a year for a number of years as an overnight stay on a drive from Melbourne to Canberra. New operators in the past 12 months. Friendly enough but with room to improve. We stayed in a premium room or executive room can't recall what it was called - but we prefer to stay...

We arrived very late at night and hotel manager was accomodating by allowing us to book late. It was a very hot night and it would have been great if the air conditioner was turned on when before we arrived. The room never cooled down. We stayed in the older part of the hotel at the rear, older decor and...

We had an overnighter here and motel is fine for that. There is an older Section at the back and the room we had allocated was there - pretty basic but got what you pay for. My adult daughter has allergies and is a perfect radar for clean carpets - needless to say she sneezed all night but surface area...

Motel is clean, friendly and right in the centre of town. A stroll to the pub in the evening and a few doors down from a decent cafe in the morning. We stayed in a standard room. The price was reasonable and the facilities good. Beds were comfy and room was quiet.

Nice, clean, comfortable room - quiet and with lots of extra nice touches like a toaster, bowls and proper cutlery. We had the standard room for $99 and it was quite adequate. Well placed for a trip from Melbourne to Sydney and within walking distance to the Family Hotel (decent pub food) for dinner. Would stay again.

We stayed in the deluxe room. 2 adults and two young teens. Although next to the main road through Gundagai this spot was quiet and the motel very clean. Great for our family of four and a quick overnight stop.

We booked a deluxe twin room for a one night stay on our way from Gisborne, Victoria to Wollongong, NSW- this was our second stay at this motel. Excellent location - short walking distance to RSL Club and the Family Hotel - both recommended - Family Hotel though is number one. The deluxe rooms are at the front with a...
