Website photos and info must be 20 years old. Reserved a 2 bedroom self contained unit for 4 adults and 2 kids. We got a shabby, smelly unit with a pullout couch missing springs and so saggy not even the kids could sleep on it. Kitchen was a joke, oven was filthy, no baking pan to cook on, so outdated....

Stayed 2 nights. On line price £98, but walk in price more like £60! Great location near beach. Apartment looks a bit tatty but fairly clean. Lovely ladies on reception. Free parking. Useless wifi unless you are by pool or use the pub next door's wifi.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff were also very helpful and obviously hard working under what appeared to be difficult conditions. The room we had was on the ground floor. The general condition of the room was old and in need of major update. No ventilation. If the door was left open to get air, flies were...

Stayed here for a one night stopover on our way back from Brisbane. The family room was quite large but a little run down. The pool was nice with a slide for the kids. It was hard to get a car park and forget about going to sleep early as the noise from the pub attached to the hotel is...

Staff were really nice. Pool is great but cracked tiles, etc everywhere! The place however is quite run down, no effort put into maintenance. Rooms are shockingly small and couldn't turn taps on or off, needed a wrench. The rooms weren't cleaned properly. Who ever owns this places needs to put some money back into it. Lots of people smoking...

The motel is adjoined to a pub, but we weren't troubled by noise. The whole place, pub included, looks very tired. If the room we stayed in was tired, the en-suite was exhausted! Our travelling companion was advised on arrival that the air conditioning in his room wasn't working so he was given a discount on the room. The temperature...

Can't complain about the location of Oceanside...just a short walk to fabulous beaches, plenty parking and a nice pool area. Rooms need a make-over and maintenance though. First thing I did was cut my hand on poorly placed tiny bar fridge where the handle is so close to top of cabinet you are guaranteed to scrape it on sharp wood...

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit for 4 nights over the new year period. plus - - the beach is not even a 2 minute walk from the hotel and there is a great kids park across the road. - the hotel staff are really friendly and it seemed to have quite a laid back atmosphere - the pool...

This motel is walking distance to the beach, just up the road. We have stayed here several times. Always receive a very friendly welcome. We stay in a basic room, not real big but has a balcony which is great to sit on in the arvo and have a drink and nibbles. Rooms are always clean, and can't hear too...

We booked the Oceanside for a short Christmas break between Christmas and New Years. We organised a two bedroom apartment and were pleasantly surprised. Our unit was located in the Providence unit block which is a little more worn than some of the other sections of Oceanside. The pool was awesome, very close to the beach and aircon that kept...
