Myall river is a great place to camp in Hawk's Nest. Set on the side of Myall river, there are lots of opportunities to fish, swim and take boats, kayaks and paddle boards out on the water. There's lots of space for camping with plenty of shade everywhere. And you're only a short drive from town.

We had 29 camp sites, made a huge circle with central tarps and campfire. Bring your canoe, tinnie, fishing rods and if you forget something, shops are only 10 minutes away. Coffee van came around which was a treat. If you want a private site, there are plenty. Drop toilets were good, clean. The surf noise put us to sleep...

Spent 2 nights here at the end of September. For $25/night was impressed. Grounds were well maintained and drop toilets clean. Great atmosphere for families and plenty of space for kids to ride their bikes. Will definately be back.

Myall River Camp is a well set up camping site, with toilets, bins, open areas as well as shady areas. Camp fires are allowed during the correct seasons. You don't have to book but it can get busy in peak times. There is a large open space away from the river that you would always find a place to put...

Fantastic spot. Could not ask for a nicer quiet spot. We put the caravan beside the water. Small contained fire are allowed. Fill your water tanks on the way in. We had a great time. Only negative. Toilets are a long walk away. No showers. No power. Which isn't a problem , we knew this before we set up camp....

This is a little hidden gem, perfect for a weekend or even week away with friends and family. The only problem was that the toilets were a fair walk from us but tat was mainly due to where we parked and not a fault of the grounds itself. River is beautiful to swim in. We will definitely be going back....

Beautiful location in the national park. I have camped here twice, once right on the river with family which the kids loved and the second a bit further away from the river where we could enjoy a bit more space with friends. The park is quiet and well maintained. Water is only open 4 hours a day (8-10am and 4-6pm...

We came across the Mungo Brush ferry and we're headed to Hawks Nest, when we decided to drop into some of the campsites and see if there was any availability. Many were full, but there was space at the big dunes and we decided to stay. We walked to the beach over the giant dunes and enjoyed watching the local...

what a beautiful place to relax for a weekend or more found by complete accident and loved my stay. For $20 off peak or $30 peak per car what more could you want. There are really clean drop toilets and well kept camp areas, in a peaceful setting with a boat ramp on the river and a little river beach...

I was mistaken in my previous post, it is $20 a night off peak and still so very worth it! One of my favourite places to camp ever. Pit toilets are well looked after and the ground improve with every trip I make here.
