I would liken my visit to the huskission. bistro to a poor experience at McDonald's. Salad had raw pumpkin in it. Soggy greens. Aioli was like runny bird poo. And no cheese on the burger. I understand this is the busy period but the basics should always come first. Otherwise the beer was cold and the view was nice. So... More

The Huskisson has undergone extensive renovations of recent times. It is now one of the very best coastal pubs in NSW. Stunning views matched by sensational food and outstanding customer service. A must for any visitor to the area.

Stopped in to have lunch on a Sunday, and was really impressed! food came out quick considering there must have been about 200 people in the place (20 mins) great menu and heaps of different beers. I had the lamb cutlets and my partner had the fish and chips, the lamb was to die for and the fish and chips... More

Tried to contact this Hotel during the previous day to ask some questions and book in, they had only recording instructing us to email them as we were travelling unable to do this so we booked the room ( postage stamp ) with Expedia. On arrival found out all rooms were up 2 flights of stairs I had only 5... More

We happen to go there on AFL Grand Final so it was really busy, but we were able to get a table and have some dinner. Dinner portions were big and very tasty. The staff were accommodating and friendly.

After reading the reviews, we knew it would get noisy especially on the weekend. So that didn't really bother us The room was clean and spacious. Came with a small bar fridge and flat screen tv The bed was very comfortable and had excellent pillows. To cancel out the noise from downstairs, we left our tv on until the pub... More

Appealing exterior and even more appealing interior. Looks and feels more like a modern, contemporary, upmarket restaurant. Fabulous decor and staff were friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable and generous food servings. Beautiful views across the bay. We chose "what everyone else was having," which was the battered flathead fillets and salad but other meals looked equally appealing. Will definitely... More

It's a shame that, like so many other restaurants and pubs with a stunning view, there is complete lack of service, food quality and reasonable pricing. Perhaps they're hoping that you'll be so enamored with the view that you won't notice. Do yourself a favour and stroll along the beach for free, take in the view and save yourself a... More

The location is great and has beautiful views, but thats where any positives about the place stop. It was incredibly loud and impossible to sleep. They had a terrible house band that played until midnight which kept everyone awake. Rooms are the size of a shoe box, and the food was ok but not worth the price. everything considered one... More

After Husky Markets decided to stay around and have a meal. Most places were rather packed and we found it difficult to accommodate a pram so resorted to Husky Pub. View never fails to impress but the food is pretty ordinary and plain but expensive for a pub meal. The fish was pretty tasteless and the only "flavour" to come... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Huskisson (formerly the Husky Pub) was fully renovated in 2011. It is a full service hotel with bars, bistro, gaming and entertainment. The rooms are modern with all the features expected. 3 X rooms have a shared balcony with 180 degree ocean views and 2 x rooms have a shred balcony with main street views. The hotel was renovated having regard to environmental issues. As such the rooms are heated with a hydronic heating system, However, we decided not to air-condition the rooms as there is usually a sea breeze in summer. Please be aware that the hotel has entertainment until midnight Friday and Saturday nights and some other nights during xmas and Easter; hence it can be noisy. ... more   less
