Holiday Haven Huskisson Beach, we spent the Australia Day long weekend down here for the second year in a row. It’s a lovely spot to relax and get away from the real world for a while. The park is ideally located, with the cabins literally on the beach. With connecting pathways to Vincentia and the Huskisson town centre, you have everything at your finger tips. The Park has paddle boards and other recreational items for hire at a reasonable price. The cabins are well maintained, functional and good amenities. My only downside is the park is in a slight dead spot with phone towers and sometimes phone data/service is a problem, the park does have it’s own wifi however it also isn’t the best…. or at least wasn’t on the weekend we were there. Other than that…. Get down to Huskisson, enjoy a few nights away… It’s a great spot!

The campground is in a lovely location, on the beach and 1km by footpath to the shops. There’s a lovely long footpath off the road perfect for walking and for kids. There’s playgrounds nearby plus tennis court and a small swimming pool. Beach is fairly calm and has very clear water. Amenities are very good, showers are quite modern but toilet door locks are a little difficult to use sometimes. Most of the sites are large enough to fit car, van and awning but the sites up the back are the same price ($50) but they back right onto a busy road, are quite a bit smaller and not very flat and are quite dusty. These sites at the back should definitely be budget sites and be around $35-$40 instead. Some Campers were playing music and radio loudly all day and management didn’t seem to mind, but it’s fairly annoying to have to listen to other people’s music.

Our site was large enough to comfortably accommodate our large motorhome ,trailer and car. The ensuite was spacious, spotless, well appointed and with abundant hot water. Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Checkin was done remotely by interactive email. So simple and so efficient. Personalised boo gate code, map of the park and other relevant information came by email prior to arrival. We would recommend this park to anyone.

I've been coming here for around 20 years and continue to love it! Two seconds walk to a beautiful, long, crystal clear flat beach connected to a little inlet (dolphins if you're lucky), a National Park filled with more wavey beaches, bush walks, animals and adventures, a long walk/bike track if you are feeling energetic (you can hire bikes), easy to use bbq's, tennis court, a pool with deckchairs, table tennis, park for the kiddies, a 10 minute stroll to the main street filled with cafes, little shops and most importantly, ice cream! If you're a family with kids you will love it. If you want peace and quiet, just come in the off season, it's lovely. The staff are very patient and helpful when you have to email back and forth to find a perfect date and cabin, and the park is clean, tidy and well presented. My only critique would be that cabin 11 could use some drawers to put clothes in, some more coat hangers and a spatula. See you next time!

We stayed at the powered campground and we were very impressed with the newly built camp kitchen, amenities with hot showers at no extra charge and laundry. The main street (Owen Street) is a 5 minute drive away so it’s close enough to the eateries. We will definitely be back one day. Thank you!

A group of us stayed in several ensuite powered sites. The park was well kept and clean and is in a great location near the beach. The ensuites were the best experienced at any caravan park.
Unfortunately, there is a lot of road noise near these sites but overall it was a great long weekend.

We stayed on an ensuite site, which was clean and the site itself had enough room.

I will not be recommending any friends or family to stay at the park though as the management 'Wayland' in particular is extremely rude and inappropriate. Friday night at approx 9:15pm Wayland stumbled into our camp site in his socks and his sunnies hanging from his shirt intoxicated. He proceeded to stare and then state that he was f#!ing pissed off with us and we needed to stop making so much noise. We were sitting in a circle talking and listening to music at a low volume. We asked him who he was and why is he stumbling into our camp site and he said i'm management and I don't need to tell you my name. He was then asked to leave as this was very inappropriate and we did not know whether he was management or not and couldn't understand why management would stumble into a campsite intoxicated.

He persisted to stay there leaning on my husbands shoulder with his palm asking if we read the rules.

We explained that we didn't know we had to be silent so early and were under the impression we needed to stop noise from 10pm. He then started rambling about the rules going on and on not allowing us to speak or continue our night. We asked him again to leave and as you can imagine we started to get annoyed that he was not leaving. He then stated if we are not happy we can leave before 9am tomorrow and get a full refund. By this stage we were all feeling so uncomfortable he then stood there and watched as we began to pack up our camp chairs as he stated he was waiting until we were in bed before he would leave.

This is disgusting behavior and far from the professional service you'd expect from a park manager. We understand the need to keep everyone accommodated as such rules need to be in place. But there should also be a standard that noise complaints will not be accepted until after a certain time to accommodate for those who are on holidays and want to have a bloody conversation past 8:30pm. We all pay the same amount of money to stay in the park and deserve to have equal opportunity to enjoy our holiday.

My daughter had booked two cabins, one for my wife and I, and one for her family. Not long beforehand we learned that my daughter in law and her two children were also going to be around. The office staff could not have been more helpful in altering our booking so that they were also accommodated. The cabins were ideal for our requirements. They were clean and warm, and everything worked
Our four grandchildren had a whale of a time together enjoying many of the child friendly facilities and they also made the most of the beach, despite it being mid winter.
Jervis Bay is one of the most beautiful spots we know, and this park is perfectly located to make the most of it. It was a great two-night stay.

We have previously stayed at the Holiday Haven 'White Sands' which is nearby and slightly closer to the town. This time we decided we would like access to a pool so we chose Holiday Haven 'Huskisson Beach.'

Our five night caravan stay was during the week before Christmas. The sites felt a little crowded. Try to pick a site that doesn't back on to another one.

The Park's NO NOISE policy was not enforced after 10pm and neither was the NO SMOKING policy which really bothered us with the extreme fire conditions at the time. It would have been good to see Staff do a round of the camping ground just prior to 10pm to identify the obvious party sites and shut them down.

Animals are permitted. The cute dog next door was offleash. It wasn't so cute once it relieved itself on our neighbour's kitchen utensils but those neighbours were the ones who had kept us awake until 1am smokin' and drinkin' so ...

The pool was good. Access to the beautiful beach was easy. The bike track is fabulous.

But back to the White Sands for us next year!

No one answers the phone. They say they’ll ring back. The pool is supposed to be open from 9am closed at dusk. Children swimming before and well after those hours. No supervision at all by the management of the park. If Cabin 9 is Covid clean well they need new cleaners. I mopped the limo with the supplied mop. The linoleum is old and cracked with many marks, needs replacing badly. Staff surely, zero help and poor attitude. Best and only good thing about this park is the location opposite the beach. I’d consider staying here again only if I had a cabin well away from the noisy pool and barbecue area. With a bit of care and attention this could be a lovely park.

Do they have camping grounds for tents?
Huskisson, Australia
Yes we do have sites for tents. Our amenities are old and will be subject for upgrade in the near future. If you would like modern facilites we have 32 Ensuite Powered Sites to choose from for an extra $15 per night. We have recently powered up all of our sites in the Jervis St camping area. Pricing starts from $30 in the winter, Standard season starts from $40 and Peak from $65. We do currently charge for extra people greater than 2 per site.
