Two couples spent the weekend at one of the finest guesthouses in New South Wales. Every modern facility in a first class guesthouse. Wonderful hosts with attention to every detail both in the accommodation and in guiding you to the best locations: beaches, sights, restaurants. Wonderful hot breakfast served to order each morning. No detail has been spared to make this the best accommodation in Jervis Bay

We stayed 2 nights in this gorgeous B&B in september, as part of a short visit to Australia. Alan and Christine make sure you feel welcome and will provide you with all the information and help you need. This includes booking a restaurant or whale watching tour, but also suggestions for places to visit. We absolutely loved the area and would have liked to stay longer. Delicious breakfast and many movies to watch in your own bedroom.

We had 2 rooms Dolphins Playground and Turtles Playground for 2 nights. Both of these rooms were tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The rooms were very homely and we would have liked to have stayed a bit longer. The breakfast was very good and freshly prepared. Alan and Christine are very helpful and were able to provide us with maps of the area. There are lots of good beaches in the area with Hyams being our favourite. We ate at Seagrass restaurant and the Stonehouse Grill both were very good.Sandholme guesthouse is a beautiful home and we enjoyed drinking a glass of wine in the comfort of our rooms.

The Sandholem Guesthouse is an average B&B, which is certainly not 5 stars as self proclaimed on their website. The room we stayed in was very clean, but the furnishing was dull and the decor certainly did not invite to stay there except for sleepig. The location of the B&B is a bit remote in a residential area. The owners are friendly, but slightly overbearing.
In summary it would be an OK B&B if the price would be cut by more than half. At the current rates it is extremely poor value.

My wife and I stayed at the Sandholme Guest House recently and found Alan and Christine to be brilliant hosts.
The place is lovely and Huskisson is a great small town surrounded by beautiful beaches and national parks.
The rooms are very comfortable and you are made to feel right at home with a bottle of wine on arrival and the hosts' easy going attitude.
Thoroughly recommend a stay at Sandholme if in the area.

Went there to discuss potential wedding venue after seeing quite high review. Upon arrival and asked to be show around the place, host seems less then interest in answering our queries re accommodation. To top it off, when discuss possible wedding arrangement he was rubbing his bare feet while chatting with us!! If he is displaying this kind of hygiene level in front of us who know how will he going to treat our food if we actually stay there!! Needless to say I have ended up had my wedding else where. I would not recommend this place to anyone at all!!

Our stay at Sandholme Guesthouse was relaxing and restful. The home itself has been built and styled in the tradition of a true Australian guesthouse and has been lovingly furnished in a manner that echoes times gone by. This said it still had all the mod cons including in house movies, aircon'd, a spa etc. Little extras like sweets and a glass of port made us really feel at home and we loved waking to the sound of birds in the bush outside in the morning. Our hosts were very friendly and gave us some great tips about local attractions - we even got to see a whale! The breakfast was also very nice. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Sandholme to friends.

As a 32nd wedding anniversary surprise my husband took me to Sandholme Guesthouse for a couple of nights.Coming from Canberra it was a lovely warm inviting place to arrive at. Alan and Christine your hosts are friendly and welcoming and enjoy a chat as much as we did.
.
We were in the north facing Dolphin's Playground room complete with king sized bed and large deep spa bath. The decor is federation era with beautiful polished wooden floors and bannisters. The mezzanine level has a full sized pool table or a screen from which to watch your choice of over 200 movies on offer. a glass of port and chocolates are also available.
The breakfast menu is extensive cereal fresh fruit toast and Alan and Christine make the best scrambled eggs. Added to this they could advise us on sights to see to make the most of this special area.
The tranquil setting near the bush just made the whole stay perfect.

The area gives you a choice of stays and Im glad we stayed at Sandholme. Its everything you need in a BnB. From undercover parking and a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival, hints/tips of the local area from the welcoming owners who appear to have mastered the art of running a great BnB. Theres a full menu at breakfast & fresh coffee, clean&tidy fully equipped rooms with plenty of natural light, Sandholme feels like a home away from home thanks to the hosts Alan and Christine. The location is ideal being away from any noisy roads or shops and its built with sound proofing in mind. To keep it balanced the only suggestion I could leave with is a DVD player in the room (it streams from the living room area). Will definitely be back. Thanks again!

Looking for the ultimate escape post NYE,we were recommended this B&B,which was tabled as a 5-star experience. Lo and behold,we found this to be true in every sense of the word.
Located a few minutes away from the main drag of Huskisson,it couldn't be easier. Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, ours in Oriental theme, others in Turtle,Lovers and Dolphin. The spa was heavenly after the rigours of spending exhausting hours in a hammock and a brisk swim at the beach. I love a cooked Aussie breakfast with everything included.
Compliments to the owners who fluffed and pampared us more than a hotel could.... and gourmet coffee to boot.... as well as every creature comfort desired. The manicured, fragrant garden is a haven with a book,a glass of wine and peace and quiet. The hammock looks inviting?
