After reading the reviews of the Station Cafe in Junee, we were looking forward to lunch on our way from Wangaratta to Parkes. The cafe was closed and we didn't have much time. The Junee Hotel looked presentable and we're so lad we called in. This is a well run family owned hotel. We had lamb roast with heaps of...

Second time for a lazy Sunday lunch and again not disappointed. Fantastic food, great local family staff and management. So much character and charm. Accommodation excellent at 40$ a room. Well needed.

We had been touring around Junee all morning checking out the licorice factory, car museum, and roundhouse train museum and decided on the Junee Hotel for lunch. We each had delicious meals served to us: lamb cutlets, fish n chips, and t-bone steak with salad and chips. Food was excellent, salad dressing was super yummy, and our drinks were cool...

Our sole purpose was to have a beer on the upstairs verandah of an old fashioned Australian pub. We did that and also had a great view of the railway station. The verandah was very deep, wide and large with big tables and comfy chairs. A Wonderful way to enjoy a cold beer!

We were travelling long days on the road, having chosen not to take the Hume south in order to see some of the smaller towns. Happened upon historic Junee Hotel- gorgeously original. Didn't stay overnight as we had already booked ahead but the Sunday evening meals were amazing and cheap- incredible value! Lovely staff. We understand the whole place is...

We didn't stay here but went for lunch. Notably we were able to sit upstairs on the balcony another fabulous view of Junee. We had a roast lunch which was great and dessert for $10.00. Worth a look and a feed. Lovely old pub!
