Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Ten of us stayed at this beautiful property. We had two singles and everyone had their own bathrooms. Ours had a bath but not for ability challenged as it was in the shower and you stepped through the screen. Couldn't get any closer to shops, cafes and pub. Just walk up the driveway. However, there was no noise from them to disturb us. Never have we had such a well equipped kitchen. Everything you need was there. They also provided a few games including quoits which I love. Alpacas in the yard added a nice outlook. Huge verandah with mountains and aussie bush to enjoy, Fires have hit the area with a few houses that we know of taken in nearby Beendala which was sad to see. Locals very happy to see us as others apparently cancelled their trips. TV in all rooms. Did not use internet so not sure about that. Beautiful Decor, even has an old piano to play. Two kitchens with full fridge. We used one for the alcohol and the other for food :-)

On arrival the owners were very welcoming. They gave us suggestions for places for lunch and dinner. I loved sitting out on the balcony enjoying my morning coffee overlooking the paddocks listening to the chirping birds. I would definitely recommend this accommodation :)

This superbly located spacious six bedroom/bathroom house was an excellent base for six couples to spend four nights exploring Kangaroo Valley and enjoying the interesting village. Rivermist Glen was well equipped with very comfortable beds, crisp linen and the kitchen had every necessary implement, including a milk shake maker !

We are a party of 4 couples (mid-late 60s) who thoroughly enjoyed the space, the amenities and the ambience of this beautiful house. We dubbed it "The Manor House." We enjoyed the huge, open space living area, which is made up of kitchen, huge dining table and TV and lounge area.This opened up onto the huge veranda (with BBQ & outdoor table) which went the whole length of the house. The 6 double bedrooms with ensuites were a huge PLUS! There are 2 other sitting/TV Lounge areas (also big). The property boasts a creek and a small dam. Families would have to keep a keen eye on young children. The house has central heating and an open fire place. Unfortunately some of the beds are quite uncomfortable. It is in a street which has a quaint pub (The Friendly Inn), a top-notch restaurant (Bistro146), a couple of bakeries (great homemade pies) and a few other interesting little shops. Rivermist Glen is close to Fitzroy Falls(stunning), and wineries (heading towards Shoal bay). We will go back again. A fabulous PLUS was the SPECIAL price quoted for this time of the year (midweek - July 21); we paid for 2 nights with the third night FREE.

Spent a great weekend at this property with 5 other couples. Accommodation excellent,6 large bedrooms all with ensuite. Large kitchen,meals and lounge area and a second kitchen lounge area. Beautiful setting,over looking paddocks,ponds with ducks and ducklings.Just a short walk to the river,where the trees were full of Black Cockatoos.Another short walk up the path and we were in the main street of Kangaroo Valley with it's cafes ,shops and pub(great for dinner) Highly recommended.

Loved location. In centre, but back from road so is quiet but easy to walk to shops and cafes. All 6 rooms have own bathrooms. Very well appointed and clean. Better signage, particularly for visitors arriving after dark would be a plus. Also could do with extra sofa in lounge area when catering for large groups.

We stayed at this amazing house, 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, Some with baths, 2 kitchens, the list goes on, fireplace, central heating. Fantastic big kitchen, all utensils are supplied. Towels, shampoo, board games. Large verandah. In the heart of kangaroo valley, short walk to the pub. Lamas. Freshly renovated. Pay for 2 nights get the 3 rd free. The best accommodation for groups of friends or family.

What a great find for 6 ladies celebrating a friend's 60th, each of us had our own room, & More importantly we all had our own bathroom, this is so hard to find. The house was recently painted, very clean & a beautiful large verandah with such a Lovely & peaceful outlook. The house itself is set back from the street, but a short walk & there are shops & restaurants. Highly recommended!! Very relaxing.

My partner and I stayed at Rivermist for 1 night. We found a most beautiful guest-home with as much peace and tranquility as we were hoping for. The house with its huge veranda and out-door furniture is facing down to the Kangaroo River and with Alpacas grazing close to the house it looks just gorgeous. The house is away from the street, but only meters to the shops and restaurants of Kangaroo Valley city. We had a private room and private bathroom which were very stylish and exceptional clean. The shared kitchen and living area are well equipped and tidy. Madeleine gave us a warm welcome on our arrival, same did her cute tiny dog Jules. We highly recommend to stay at Rivermist, it's a place of tranquility, cleanliness, style and warm welcoming hosts.

What a pleasant surprise to have found such an incredible property right in the heart of the quaint little Kangaroo Valley town. Rivermist is an absolute must to visit! The owners make you feel so very welcome that you instantly feel at home at their private country oasis. We couldn't rave about this b&b anymore that we have, the cleanliness and style was top of the top. Immaculately presented. Incredible serenity and view. Enjoy a stroll down to the river and up to the small town. Relax on the sofa while reading a book and taking in the view of the property. Highly recommended!

All the 6 bedrooms are doubles with ensuite. They may be able to make the beds into singles - but the room mates would share the ensuite.
Just Ring/email the owners & ask. They were very helpful to us.
