We have had a weekend staying in a holiday home, we were met by kangaroos in the bush when we arrived. and the views in the morning are spectacular,so quiet and relaxing.
We haven’t seen anymore kangaroos on our visit, perhaps we surprised them on our arrival

Margaret could not have been more welcoming when we came to visit in February. The property is so homely you instantly feel as home and relaxed, its is spotless and the breakfast in the morning was perfect before our journey back to Sydney!
Thank you again for a lovely night in Kangaroo Valley!

The cottage was well furnished and cozy and on the edge of a well maintained golf course. Highly recommend it for anyone, even if they don't play golf. The swimming pool is close, within easy walking distance. A great accommodation for the money.

We were greeted by a creepy old man, who seemed drunk. We were a bit shocked because when we booked a lovely lady spoke to us but she was apparently away till the next day.
The deck at the front door of their two story house is ROTTING and they have signs up saying "watch your step-deck rotting" Umm this is a major safety issue!!! They have little garden nomes in the extremely rotted areas.
He took us to a small room in their home with an ensuite and seemed to linger there while talking to us for a long while.
The room was old fashioned out of date...lots of yellow, fake flowers and porcelain dolls everywhere. And FLANNELETTE sheets?!?
The man watched us from the deck each time we left the house.
Tea and coffee were in their kitchen so you couldn't even just stay in your room to escape.
For the breakfast she apologised for not getting gluten free (because we did tell her of my dietary requirement before hand) so there wasn't much I could eat.
Overall a very uneasy stay, I felt unsafe and stressed. The photos from the website show the beautiful views-that and the location are they only things they had good going for them.
Very expensive for just a small room in someone's house too!
