We stayed two nights at the Kurri Motor Inn and were very happy with our accommodation.The room was a good size and had a small table and chairs, microwave, kettle, fridge and toaster. The bed was very comfortable the bathroom and shower were fine. Maybe better to BYO if you want separate shampoo and conditioner and don't like the combined ones! It is convenient for the town and very close to Coles supermarket if you need supplies. Kurri Kurri is a very pretty little town surrounded by rolling hills. They have more than 50 murals painted in the town and it's fun spotting them as you stroll the town. Easy to find nice breakfast places, and the tourist bureau has a very nice cafe for breakfast or lunch, open on a Sunday morning! We went to a concert at Pokolbin and it was an easy 3o minute drive.

We booked out two family rooms in November as we were going to the Hunter Valley Christmas lights however everything in Hunter was booked or wanted a minimum 2 night stay so we stumbled across this beauty. It was only a short distance to Hunter. Staff were friendly and our rooms were immaculate. It’s also right near a coles supermarket. Beds were comfortable, shower was nice and hot. They didnt mind our 4 young boys (all under 5) running in and out of the two rooms. Definitely recommend.

I booked for 2 nights and found the room to be very clean, comfortable, great price, and staff very helpful and polite. The room had a very comfortable bed, the bathroom was clean,l and a decent size. The amenities included a coffee machine, microwave and a smart tv with free wifi. Location wise it’s a short stroll to Coles or cafes. Definitely would stay here again!

For a family Easter we stayed at Kurri Kurri Motel for 3 nights. The bed was comfy, and shower was good, tv worked and that's important. Tiny glasses in the fridge, sooo annoying. the usual "nowhere to hang anything". The room was a bit pokey and the carpark cramped, I won't be back unless i'm desperate.

Of the standard motel layout but better equipped and clean place. Good location, minutes to town centre (not much to see in town however) and across the road to Coles so that could be handy. On a description it had garden view but all rooms just look over carpark as per standard motel setup. Owner and extended family/friends, when we were there seemed to treat the motel as extension of private dwelling, kids running around car park screaming in the evening, so quite noisy.

Stayed here last night, as we were attending an event today. My adult daughter booked months ago for two adults and a child.
First impressions were that the paved area on entry to all rooms, needed a good weed and clean up, it was a mess and the pavers were extremely uneven.
Our room key was under the door mat as advised and we were allowed to have our room at 12 noon, which suited us.
We had a room with a double bed and two single beds. It was a good sized room and clean. Older style bathroom (with a shower curtain - yuk) Larger than usual TV, with a clear picture. All the usual inclusions, one would expect at a motel, and more than enough room, bench space, chairs and a table. Now the bad. We had no hot water after ONE shower. 😡 According to their web page, reception were open until 8pm and then closed till 8am. We needed to be gone by 6.30 am the next morning. It was only 7 pm, and no one answered. By 7.30 we were annoyed. I went looking and came across a man wearing a ‘turban’ who seemed to be entering the office. I called to him and told him our problem. He said he would ‘look’ We were still waiting to hear at 7.45. We rang SEVERAL more times. Eventually we got an answer. We were told we would have hot water by the morning. 😡 He offered to bring us BUCKET.
My daughter said NO WAY, we paid for our room and would like to shower. He gave a lengthy explanation of the reason, however we had difficulty with the language barrier. (Something about students?) He ended up giving us a key to another room JUST to shower in, and assured us the water would be hot in the morning. Not ideal, when it was 5’ and extremely windy outside, running from one room to another. VERY unfortunate, disappointing and unacceptable experience.

It was very comfortable, warm and quiet, would come back just for the lovely hot shower plenty of pressure after a long busy cold day it was really nice, Owners were lovely and welcoming would definitely stay there again

The motel will surprise you the moment you enter the room and in a very good way. The entrance to the motel looks like any other motor inn, with a dated design. But the rooms have been refurbished and very modern.
There were more than sufficient amenities such as fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster, plates, cups, bowls, utensils. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, hair fryer.
The room was very cosy and the housekeeping was great. Towels were thick and fluffy and the beds are always made very nicely and i even had lavender laid on my towels! Room is clean and the bed is comfy and I had very good sleep after a day of heading out.
Shower is hot and powerful which is always very appreciated. Wifi works wonderfully!
Staff is extremely helpful and friendly and I can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work. Truly a wonderful stay and good value for money. It's only 30 minutes drive from the happenings in Hunter Valley (and the petrol station + supermarket is literally just right next to the motel!) so I would definitely stay again for my next trip to Hunter Valley.

Stayed here for two nights when we was racing at the speedway for oz titles. Clean, tidy and well presented. Would use again. TV in room with good picture on all channels. Shower was powerful. Tea/coffee in room and a toaster was their to use as well.
