We had the standard cabin at this park for 2 nights. Clean, friendly staff, well laid out, good swimming pool, at the Northern end of town. Part of a pub, so liquor available. Restaurant id pretty boarding school - pick food, pay, and it's delivered. Servings are huge - neither grandson or myself could finish it.

Spent a couple of nights here with a group of friends. Room was lovely & clean. Bar & bistro were great. Nice coffee shop over the road. Service station directly opposite. I love Lightning Ridge & would definitely stay here again.

This is a very large park, linked to a lot of cabin accommodation, bistro & bottle shop. The grounds are fairly bare (understandably, given the climate) and the facilities fairly basic, though adequate. There was a lot of construction noise when we were there, though we were able to move to a quieter site

A group of us stayed in two rooms for 3 nights. Enjoyed dinner at the bistro, a drink in the pub (on site) and seeing the sights. It is well located opposite the Information Centre. Areas for improvement - there are a lot of little things that need to be improved. The communal washing machine took my money and didn't...

For the price we expected a lot more. Rooms serviced daily but only a change of towels, no extra milk, consumables or beds changed/made. Rooms had loads of cobwebs and not cleaned well. We would be looking to stay elsewhere next time we visit.

BBQ hasnt seen cleaning equipment since we have been here. The poor guy that cleans the bathrooms uses a wheel barrel to cart around the toilet stuff. And theres been squashed mossies on the...

We arrived at the end of a very long, hot day's driving to the Outback resort. Our promised Welcome Drink didn't materialise [the receptionist was rather busy and distracted when we arrived!] and would have been very welcome! The rooms were clean, spacious and well-appointed - though quite dark [70s timber and dark brick]. Our friends had a microwave in...

We stayed here for 1 night, despite the rain we managed to enjoy our stay. it would have been 2 nights, but not too much to do in the Ridge when it's pouring down. The Rooms are lovely - spacious with tasteful decor, with the added bonus of free WiFi. The staff were all very friendly and obliging. The Steaks...

We stayed here for several nights in a motor home. We were offered an ensuite site which was great - it was fairly new. I would have liked it to be cleaned or at least swept or mopped during our stay but was told this only occurred on departure. The best thing about this caravan park was 'Happy Hour' when...
