This was not as described. The outside of the building look like it it was an abandoned building and when we entered the room it was musty and damp and smelled like a barn the air-conditioner was two fans there was no luxury anywhere to be found and it $250 a night you would expect much better than this. We...

We booked the "Roost" room at Huddleston Court lodge for two nights, for our wedding anniversary, and could not have been more delighted. The room is simply adorable, with little kitchen (coffee and coffeepot provided), sweet bathroom with lots of hot water, a two-person table and little sitting room, and a deliciously comfy bed right in front of a wood-burning...

I booked the Beaverdam Creek Cabin for my girlfriend's birthday and the Cabin and setting couldn't have been more perfect. We ate at the restaurant that night by a wood burning fire and it was one of the best, most low-key vacation spots I've ever been too.

For my birthday, my wife booked us a stay overnight at the Beaverdam Creek Cabin. This cabin is located on the grounds of the Green Gables Restaurant, and is run as a rental. Overnight stays get a free breakfast at the Green Gables Restaurant. An overnight stay at this little gem was a gift from my wife for my birthday....

Plan a visit during the summer theatre season. They have packages available or arrange your trip ala carte. There are three areas to discuss about your visit. First the theatre, one of the longest running summer theaters in the country. If for some reason you don't enjoy the play, just gaze over the architecture of the theatre. The plays are...

This is a rustic country inn which translated means it has quaint atmosphere and no air conditioning. My room was Sugar Maple. It was very quiet and the bed was quite comfortable. A large fan was provided which did sufficiently cool the room for sleeping. The location is a good one for a trip to the area. I visited the...

After reading some of the other reviews, it's important to say that this is a special place for a specific sector of the market. My husband and I are architects, environmentalists, and prefer things that are authentic, beautiful and unique. We were thrilled and captivated by Huddleson Court and Green Gables. We stayed in the Sugar Maple room in July....

I purchased the dinner/show/overnight package. Dinner was absolutely delicious. The musical at the playhouse was excellent, but our accommodations were lacking. That's why I couldn't rate this a five. We stayed in the Beaver Dam Creek Cabin. It was clean, but dark and musty smelling. Because there is no AC, the place is very damp from having the windows open....

Beautiful setting and convenient location. Too old and rustic for me. Bathroom had been updated at some point. Our room was dark. My husband used a headlamp in order to read the one evening we were there.

Tucked away in the tiny town of Jennerstown, PA, sits the Huddleston Court, Green Gables Restaurant, and Mountain Playhouse. The restaurant started as a food stand at a stage coach stop and evolved through the decades. The inn is actually down the street on the site of an old barn that burned down and was converted into apartments and a...
