The view was amazing! Unfortunately Rob and Tess have just taken back over the place and it is too muhc for them to handle. The internet bookings are really overwhelming them so I would recommend calling rather than booking online. Also this is NOT pet friendly. Don't even ask or you will cop and eatrful.

Driving up to the Hillcrest we were unsure of what to expect as the exterior of the building looked very dated. Very laid back owners who were very friendly. Room small neat and tidy, no air conditioner but had the most amazing view. Back in it's day it was a resort so the pool was great but closed far to...

We went through ‪booking.com‬ 3 months in advanced. We were in a large group so it was important we booked in advanced (especially coming around the new year time) we drove 6 hours to get here. We got there before check in, at about 12. We wanted to leave some cars there. The owner was fine with it and told...

Our experience at the Hillcrest Motor Inn was one I would not wish upon my worst enemy. After arriving at 2pm on 30.12.16 to check in my two friends were left standing locked outside reception for 20 minutes before even being acknowledged and let in to attempt to check in. They were locked inside reception for approximately 45 minutes being...

Check in took 2 hrs due to technical issues, however the deluxe queen room is comfortable and clean with amazing view. No aircon but doesn't need it due to beautiful weather. There was a fan in the cupboard to use if it gets too hot.

My partner and I stayed here on the 30-12-16 for one night and one night was enough. On arrival the owner was ranting at us how inconvenient it was for him that we didnt have a paper booking comfirmation. I tried to explain that we booked that day on our way to Merimbula but this only seemed to anger him....

I stayed here a year ago with my dog and thoroughly enjoyed the place. We could not have said one bad thing to say about the place. I called up yesterday and only got as far as "do you have any pet friendly rooms available...." before I got interrupted and got a massive rant about how dogs ruin the rooms,...
