We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. The king size bed was very comfortable and we loved that the rooms are tucked away towards the back at the property so it was nice and quiet. Alyse and Shane were incredibly warm and welcoming- they went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed our stay.

These rooms, at the back of the house, are quiet, and set in beautiful gardens full of quirky and arty additions. Lots of flowers, all canopied by a beautiful big tree that keeps the garden significantly cooler than elsewhere. The rooms have Port and, chocolates and home baked biscuits are in the dining room, along with a massive selection of...

Allyse and Shane offer a warm welcome, leading us down the side of the house to the two guest rooms at the back. That location is perfect, as there is no traffic noise from the busy road. Sadly, the king size bed is rather tired, with hollows formed by years of earlier guests, but otherwise, the room is very comfortable....

Had the great pleasure of staying here over the weekend. We had the lovely Jasmine room, which was clean, spacious snd very comfortable. The owners were lovely - incredibly friendly, welcoming and willing to help. The little touches made it even better; the freshly baked cookies, the decanted port in the rooms and the handwritten and personalised breakfast placards to...

Having travelled back to the Southern Highlands after being away for some time, we chose to stay at Bowral Rd Bed and Breakfast as it was in a perfect location for us. I feel that the previous couple of poor reviews have been very harsh and seem to focus on some very small details. We could not have had a...

The comments in the last 2 reviews are quite accurate but perhaps somewhat harsh in that they don't appear to consider all the good aspects of this B&B which I believe more than make up for its shortcomings. Yes, the B&B lacks attention to detail but the rooms are well appointed, cozy and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and...

Dear Lyell, thank you so much for your very kind review. We love to hear from our guests and see things through their eyes. It would be really good to have more feedback from you regarding our lack of detail so that we can fix it and make it better for future guests. I would love to hear from you...

We decided to try here for a change. We had high expectations having read the previous reviews. We have experienced a pretty good range of B&B over the years so have a good sense of what to expect. Sadly, here they are not reaching what I feel is a good standard and certainly the standard you would expect of the...

Dear Wing6rider, we would like to thank you for your comments as they are always welcome and we like to hear from our guests so that we can improve on our service. We would however like to explain about the garden during the period that you came as we were in the prime autumn season and our huge oak tree...

After reading the reviews on the Bowral Road B&B we decided to stay overnight on our way to Canberra. I did not notice at the time that most of the reviews are quite old. I was a bit concerned when we arrived as the garden was looking somewhat in need of maintenance, there was a lot of cobwebs on the...

En-route to Port Macquarie from Melbourne we decided to try this B and B rather than stay at a motel. So glad we did. A lovely room in a very ambient setting- quite unexpected on a still very busy Bowral road. The bed was fairly comfortable, the room spacious and the ensuite very attractive.. There was plenty of information about...

My husband and I spent the night here en route from the north coast of NSW to Melbourne. We are not usually staying at B&B's but it was late and there were not many places with vacancies in the area. It turned out to be lovely. Alyse and Shane have thought of a lot of things to make the environment...
