Well, to make it simple,
The cabin was so expensive and TINY, and not to mention the "riverside" aspect, is a HOAX - had to walk around the park to get there.
Our BBQ still had onion on it from previous owners.
There were insects all over the cabin.
The Tennis Court was non-existent, the next was lying on the floor, not even attached to the poles.
There was ONE roll of toilet paper..
The TV was microscopic.
And ONE of the managers were just plain rude! Very disrespectful considering were the ones giving him money - putting FOOD ON HIS PLATE!
Mountain was a 10/10. Only enjoyed it when I was away from the camp.

We booked in here as we wanted to walk up Mt Warning.
Great spot to stay.
Clean showers/toilets.
Hot water on a timer.
Lots of space grass, shade
Friendly staff.
We stayed in an U/P site on the creek line. Really pretty.
Walked up Mt Warning.
We are fit and made it on a round trip with a 20 min stop at the top 4.5 hrs.
Definitely recommend.

Spent a few days here on a powered site, the kids loved the surroundings, lots of running around amongst the trees.
Each site has a fire pit which we made use of.
Lovely setting in a relaxed park, just what we needed!

We paid $175 for cabin at this place and what a rip off it was. Dated and basic, dirty and uncomfortable.

I would overlook all these things if it wasnt for the uncomfortable, springy, cheap double (not even queen size) bed. We didn’t sleep a wink. Watched the tennis on the tiny 25inch tv and cooked dinner on the bbq which only worked on one side. Oh and the “tennis court” had weeds growing out of it and was possibly a tennis court in 1982 but nowadays should certainly not be advertised as such.

Obviously the owners haven’t invested a cent into the place since 1982 and have no clue on how to manage a caravan park. What a shame because the surroundings and general area are truly magnificent.

We stayed here for 7 nights to escape the hustle and bustle of life to end our 3week camping holiday. We were absolutely blown away with the serenity and beauty of the park. It met every expectation we had. The park is located close to everything you want: climbing Mt. Warning, Nimbin, Coolangatta, and Byron Bay just to name a few attractions.
We will definitely come back to this gem next time we travel up from Victoria.

Yes they allow pets but not on the rainforest side of the park only the side where the cabins are. If you are camping there are a few nice shady unpowered camp sites there.
