This EconoLodge sits on top of a high hill past the northern end of Murwillumbah's CBD. It is an older, 50's/60's style motel, similar in many respects to many, if not mosst of the motels that dot the Australian countryside. But it is well run, clean, and up to date, and it provides a comfortable stay. My room was amply...

We stayed here as 2 couples in 2 queen rooms. The stay was pleasant over the Easter weekend. ie.Thursday to Sunday night primarily for the blues fest. The rooms were surprisingly spacious for the cost and clean. For a basic stay where you really only need sleep and shower etc.it met all the requirements. Some getting used to the quirky...

Colleen and her team were outstanding in a time of crisis. Not only did the Lodge have modern well appointed rooms the genuine compassion shown to so many over the past few days was heartwarming amidst much sadness. Thankyou Colleen for you support and flexibility in organising accommodation for my staff at Heritage Lodge. Your engagement and kind caring attitude...

We recently stayed for 2 nights at the Econo Lodge in Murwillumbah. The location is elevated on the hill just up from the town centre and quiet. The staff are very pleasant and the rooms are very functional and clean. We stayed in a family room (everything in one big room) which was spacious with a queen bed plus 2...

Econo Lodge was a good choice for our recent overnight stay, not fancy, but good service, price, location and comfort. I had booked online so checking in was easy and smooth, and pleasantly surprised to be offered a freshly made coffee for the two of us from a decent coffee machine. Our room was small with a queen bed, bar...

Very friendly & helpful staff. Room was dated especially the bathroom but was all very clean. Plenty of off street parking. Great value for money. Very quiet location. We would definitely stay there again.

Econo Lodge - Our stay was for a few days- Our upstairs room was spacious, awesome views to Mt. Warning and serviced each day. Close to town centre and provided everything we needed- So good we have just re-booked for our next Music tour in February. Looking forward to another secure and comfortable stay.

We stayed here while at a retreat in neighbouring Tyalgum. The motel staff very kindly passed on a room rate discount as booking.com tried to rip us off (no surprises here). Motel is clean and tidy, bed comfortable, however the decor is a bit dated. Overall a good stopover place or short term stay.

Stayed overnight and could not fault it. The owners were very friendly and had turned on the Aircon in the room well before we arrived so it would be cool as it was a 32deg day which was very kind. Bed was very comfy, room clean and neat & in a good location.

We stay at this hotel very time we come to (or just pass through) m'bah. Staff are very helpful and friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable. Half of the parking is undercover which is good! Nice view of mt warning from my window. Wifi is free. I didn't order from the room service breakfast menu so can't comment on that....
