Modern and clean Hotel - clearly fairly new. Rooms clean and well serviced with kitchenette. Good cafe downstairs for breakfast. A good place to stay in central Nelson. A little noisy in the morning due to traffic noise.

We had a lovely time here in a very nice room right beside the marina. Rooms are not huge but are well decorated and had comfy beds. Pool area is nice. Staff were friendly. The breakfasts were fantastic.

Excellent location walking distance to everything. Great breakfast with nice view and vibe. Pools heated do can be used all year. Would recommend this for a couples weekend away as you can walk everywhere for dinner. Parking bay can get a little full as she is a pokie location ( they have maximised their property).

Loved our stay at the Nelson Resort. Despite being slightly disappointed at the view (we booked a Bay view apartment and our 1st floor room had just a partial view of the ocean through buildings and trees) - we could not fault another thing. Lovely furniture & fittings, comfy beds, nice bathroom, dishwasher. The pool and gym were used and... More

Had a lovely stay at the Nelson Resort earlier this month. The room was clean and had a great view of the bay. The hotel is a short walk from the local marina and beach so was the perfect location. We had breakfast one morning at the hotel cafe which was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. Some... More

Had a great time at The Nelson Resort. Would probably recommend the town or bay rooms as the garden rooms can be a little noisy with cars in the morning if you want to sleep in. Close to everything and the breakfast & coffee downstairs at The Little Nel Cafe is fantastic. Emma at front desk was very accommodating. All... More

Room was very good. Spacious, neat and clean, and the staff were very helpful. It's an easy walk to almost everywhere... The cafe downstairs had a wonderful breakfast at a reasonable price... Will book there again.

After booking for 4 nights in a King Deluxe Bay View, being given key to room 27, which overlooks the rear of the pub's car park, it was less than expected. After complaint to Deb on the front desk, & being told "bay view is not the view from your bed" & "try 32, see if you like that.....but now... More
