Stayed here for two nights in late August in a two bedroom apartment on the third floor.
Apartment had an unusual though very functional layout. Once you entered the front door you could either walk straight ahead into the main bathroom/laundry or turn left through quite a long galley kitchen which opened out into a large combined dining/lounge room. The two bedrooms had full floor to ceiling internal glass windows with curtains that opened onto the dining/lounge room. This was obviously a design feature to let in natural light however it may impact privacy if there were two couples staying there. There was an ensuite bathroom off the main bedroom.
The apartment was comfortably furnished. The combined dining/lounge room had a dining table with six chairs, a three seater lounge plus two other chairs, a desk with lamp and chair as well as a large TV on a cabinet that also had a sound system in it. There was also a large wall mounted mirror.
The two bedrooms were of a similar size and similarly furnished. There was a queen sized bed (comfortable - although you could have had two singles in the second bedroom), bedside tables with a lamp on either side of the bed, a large wardrobe with hanging space and drawers as well as, in the main bedroom a large wall mounted TV and a safe. Extra pillows were provided in the wardrobes.
The ensuite was a good size with a walk in shower (pressure was fine) and a reasonably sized vanity for toiletries.
The main bathroom was large and had a bath with a shower in it as well as a washing machine and a dryer.
The kitchen was particularly well equipped with a full sized fridge with freezer, large sink, oven, hotplate, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and a good selection of pots and pans with sufficient crockery, glasses and cutlery.
There was an outside deck with a plastic table and four chairs and a pretty ordinary view over the opposite side of Kinghorne Street - minimal downside.
Air conditioning and WIFI worked very well.
We booked directly with Quest and were offered secured parking under the building at no extra cost. There was a lift from the car park to reception and the other floors.
Location is reasonably good on the corner of Kinghorne Streets (main pedestrian entrance) and Plunkett Streets (car park entrance). There are a number of cafes, restaurants and shops about a 250 to 350 metre easy walk up Kinghorne Street to the centre of town.
I dealt with Elisa over the phone and in the lead up to our arrival. Elisa was also on duty when we checked in and checked out. Elisa was excellent. Very pleasant and super efficient.
Would absolutely stay here again when next in Nowra.

Dear westy54, Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for taking the time to leave such a comprehensive review for our hotel. I'm very glad to hear that you were happy with the friendly and helpful service provided by the wonderful Elisa! I'll be sure to pass on your compliments. I note you mentioned the bed in the second bedroom - all of our beds are king size sealy beds that can be split into two king singles depending on the preference of the arriving guest. I will be our pleasure to welcome you back to stay with us again in the future. Best regards, James Blanchett Franchisee

We were looking for a family and wheelchair friendly place to stay in Nowra for a family wedding. The quest provided safe and appropriate amenities in the two bedroom wheelchair accessible apartment, this included the added bonus of a balcony with a recessed sliding door track which was completely flat and able to be accessed by wheelchair. The accessible bathroom was appropriate and included a wall mounted shower bench. Furniture was spaced appropriately to allow free movement with the wheelchair, both manual and larger electric. The extra (less accessible) ensuite was also a bonus. We were too busy on this trip to use the many of the features in the kitchen, but the addition of a full sized fridge and washing machine would be excellent for a longer stay. The Mcdonald's and service station next door are very convenient when you are in a hurry and the hotel is located conveniently in relation to shops and restaurants. The ice creams in the freezer were an awesome bonus which the kids loved.

Dear tejachambers, Thank you for taking the time to write such a comprehensive review about our property. I'm really pleased to hear that our two bedroom accessible apartment suited your needs so well. It's really important to us that our facilities are suitable for everyone of all abilities. We have made some adjustments over the years, such as moving plates and crockery onto lower shelves, following feeback from our guests so if there is anything you noticed that could be improved upon further we'd love to know so we can continue to enhance the experience for our guests. And if not, then it's great to know we've got it right! I hope we'll have the pleasure of welcoming you back to stay again in the future. Best regards, James Blanchett Franchisee

its the little extras that make quest Nowra the place to stay. from the smiling welcome at guest services to the complimentary ice cream in the freezer we will be coming back to quest Nowra. they had our sofa bed made up for our daughter so when we arrived late on the Friday night we could put our toddler straight to bed no worries. Complimentary plunger coffee in the morning and fully equipped kitchen made our little getaway a breeze. The onsite burger joint was a hit with my husband and I (gluten free for me!) and we will be back very soon

Dear emmsmummy, What a wonderful review, thank you! It's such a pleasure to hear that you've had a really great stay with us and enjoyed the little extras in you apartment. The new burger restaurant onsite, Sneaky Burger, has certainly developed a loyal local following on the South Coast. Such a great added bonus that all their meals can be made gluten free too! Thank you so much for choosing to stay with us. I hope we can welcome you back again in the future. Best regards, James Blanchett Franchisee

The Quest was a great place to stay, the room was very clean. Our room had a kitchen with a stove, full size fridge, we also made use of the washing machine and dryer which was also in our room. The view was peaceful looking out to the lake. The Quest is also close to the shopping centre

Quest Nowra was a great base from which to explore Jervis Bay. It's also located in the centre on Nowra, close to cafes, supermarkets, etc.
The studio room was modern and clean, no issues at all. The gym was minimal but adequate (see pic), and the secure carpark worth the additional $10/day for the convenience.
Staff were always friendly and helpful, even when the hotel was completely full over the long weekend.
The price for a studio was about A$180/night over the long weekend, which reasonable given the rates of other motels, etc., in the area.
Overall, would stay again.

It is a Neat and clean place. Friendly staff. It is Centrally located. It is Close to all amenities. It has Good facilities like gym and functional kitchen. Hotels paid parking is not expensive with just $10 a day, it’s worth for peace of mind though street parking is plenty.

We had a week at the Quest and everything was just perfect for us. I had to work every day during our stay so having the desk where I could also set up my computer & printer was just brilliant. Staying a week of course we needed to wash, so having a machine & dryer in the apartment, was also just so convenient. Having the undercover carpark & lift was also an added bonus to this hotel which is conveniently located right in town. We would 100% rebook this hotel, when we next have to stay in Nowra

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and I have to say that I can’t fault this facility. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff were lovely and friendly. After being disappointed many times that the rooms never look like the photos in other places we have stayed, we were extremely happy to see our room looked just like what is advertised. Thank you for a lovely holiday

The room was clean, with generous facilities and modern furnishings. Food service was nil, but they had charge backs to local eateries - a chance to enjoy the surroundings and relax in style. Unique arrangement where rooms could be combined for larger families.

Poor value. An upper end price for Nowra and than charged $12 for parking on top of that. Mediocre appearance of reception and public areas. Friendly staff though. We were expecting at least a coffee plunger in our “kitchen” but no - just a miserly little bowl of tea, coffee and sugar. We were also informed at reception that a $100 security deposit would be taken on our credit card and it could take up to 5 days to see a refund. If staying in Nowra we feel there would be plenty of better options.

Dear DK Thank you very much for your recent visit to Quest Nowra, I would like to extend my feelings for what was an unpleasant visit for you and for taking your time to let us know how your stay was. We do provide coffee plungers for the dedicated coffee lovers, all you need to do is ask reception as soon as you checked into your room and my team will be more than happy to bring it over to your room. Unfortunately the security bond procedure is very much depended on the banking institution and the various policies laid out by various governing bodies. Please do let us know if it takes longer than the standard number of days and we can look into the delay. We strive to provide you the best experience while you stay to enjoy our beautiful South Coast as can be see from our other guests' feedback. Kindest regards
