We really enjoyed this location, it isn't a 5 star resort so if that's what your chasing you'll be disappointed. We took our 2 year son with us & the couple running the resort were amazing with him. The room was a gorgeous little shack, clean kitchen + bathroom. Our son was entertained by all the wildlife around and exploring,...

We stayed 2 nights in Kelly's Castle with a Jacuzzi. 2 adults and our 7 year old son and our dog. The location is an easy walk to beautiful One Mile Beach. A short drive to Boat Harbour and Birubi beach. The cabin is basic, kitchen facilities are a bench with a sink, a good size fridge, microwave, a toaster...

This is not 5 star luxury - so if that's what you prefer, this is not for you. If you enjoy the sound of frogs, crickets, owls and other creatures - this is the place for you. We spent 2 nights and really enjoyed them. Everything was clean, the bathroom and kitchen were both good. Yes, there were spider webs...

Lovely staff, lovely location! My partner and I stayed in a 'Jacuzzi Bungalow'. Well stocked kitchen, clean and well presented. Comfy beds and couch! The private outside area was cute, the pond was really tranquil feeling with tadpoles and at night (slightly noisy) frogs! It was great. The day bed looked a bit old, the jacuzzi was fabulous! Although set...

Attended this place as part of a very large group for a wedding which was held on site. The new owners have done a great job here, with some modernisation to amenities such as a huge undercover area where our reception was held. Really good stuff. The 2 story cabins are noted for 6, however up to 15 could be...

At a price of $300 per night for a jacuzzi bungalow, my husband, I and our two small dogs stayed at the 'pet friendly' Oasis. I was shocked when we entered the bungalow by the kitchen, bathroom and general uncleanliness of the accommodation. The bathroom resembled that of a youth hostel (desperately requires an upgrade), there are cobwebs everywhere, the...

Great little cabins nestled right in amongst the paperbark trees, Jacuzzi was nice listening to the native birds while soaking having a wine. A few creepy crawlies around and a twilight barrage of mozzies. But bring the insect repellent a bottle of wine and you have a relaxing chilled out little get away

We came here for a weekend getaway, hoping to just leave the world behind us for a little bit. It was everything we were looking for and more. We are staying one of the Jacuzzi cabins - amazing. As soon as we walked in we were impressed. An open living area, queen bed down stairs - but we opted for...

Me and my family stayed in the family bungalow. It was dirty (cobwebs, spiders, dust and rust everywhere), the "free wifi" was terrible most of my devices couldn't pick it up and the ones that could the password wouldn't work and when we spoke to management about it they told us to type in the password twice just like the...

So sorry to hear that your visit wasn't memorable like our other guests. I do apologize for not being at my desk but at that time I was visiting the toilet. Our resort is located in the bush and it is a constant battle to keep the spiders (daddy long legs) out of the cabins. We do not kill our...

“Choose a bungalow to suit your own needs, all bungalows are on a loop road and face the central pond and group kitchen/function area. It would be quite noisy if you were there at the same time as a wedding reception!”

“Travel Tip: If you are using a Navman try putting in the suburb as Boat Harbour. To get to O'Carrolyns, you enter Koala Place from Gan Gan road off the same roundabout as Blanch Street. So if you can't find Koala Place in your Navman put in Blanch street and it will get you there.”
