We are a family, two adults and two boys. We had 2 connected very comfortable spacious rooms with a bathroom. Allison and her family run this lodge, have been really warm and helped in everything to make our stay even better. The location is perfect, with great views, and the bus stop just out the door!! The restaurant in the...

Candlelight lodge is very convenient to everything in Thredbo, just a minute or two walk to the village. The accommodation is an older lodge with character and most importantly is very warm with good heating. Basic room with views and verandah overlooking the mountain.

Warm and friendly, tiny room, but who needs more? Well heated and hot shower, no bath. Comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was fantastic, obvious clean kitchen, the coffee was excellent. Highly recommend this accommodation, spectacular view.

My husband and I stopped here for one night as we transited the park. Very comfortable but you can hear everything! Thredbo lacks high end and contemporary accommodation but this had an old world charm. We loved the view.

We were received in a friendly and prompt manner. The room and ensuite were appropriately solid, slightly rustic and alpine inspired in this historic guesthouse. Appreciated the historical info available and advice given for dinner options. The Mexican night next door was excellent. Situated about midway up the village slope, had views and breakfast included and borrowed a board game...

We spent a very comfortable stay at Candlelight lodge Thredbo. Close to the centre of town near the chairlift. The manager Alison and husband provided a very generous continental breakfast for a big few days of walking. Lots of good advice for the trek to Kosciusko and dinner recommendation especially Cascades.

Location and views of the mountain fantastic, clean, and has a great alpine feel. The host (Andrew) was fantastic and knows the area inside out as well as the mountain. Good secure bike storage for summer and Ski/Snowboard for winter. Will def stay again.
