Restaurant is becoming so popular make sure you book or get there before 6pm.We went on Monday night for the $10 bangers & mash & it was 1st class. Wife had calamari which she couldn't eat all of it...she said it was just mouth watering!! Beer prices are reasonable.

The waterfront reserve location for this relatively small club is one of its best features. It make use of the location with an expansive outdoor area for eating, drinking ad relaxing. Awesome little pub with a real country feel about it, enjoy a ice cold beer in the beautiful beer garden listening to some live music on a Sunday or having a feed in one of the best pub bistros I've been too you won't be dissapointed. Head on down, great staff friendly locals! 👍👍👍👍

I am a regular at this hotels "the shack" restaurant. I do not live locally and travel 30 mins past 2 pubs and 2 clubs to come here. I have never ever had a bad meal from this restaurant!!! We decided to stop by here as we were starving hungry and thought this would have been a good pick. Weren't we disappointed! I was desperate for a place to stay in Wangi Wangi having driven far and running late for a night meeting. I pulled in and had the keys to a room ($60)with a bathroom in 5 minutes. We decided to stay at the Wangi Wangi Hotel, in the Lake Macquarie area so that we wouldn't have to get up before dawn to do "Loop the Lake" this year. Loop the Lake is a 85 km bike ride to raise money for one of the local hospitals. Lake Macquarie is a fishing spot so water sports are available... More
