I was able to easily book this room online the night before a last minute trip. Eileen confirmed promptly by email in the morning making me feel secure. During our entire stay Eileen and her husband Nic made us feel so comfortable it was like visiting home. We ate a delicious, fresh breakfast and toured beautiful landscape with gardens and... More

We had a wonderful time at Hill Home Forge during our 2 day stay in Jim Thorpe, PA. The home is unique and charming and full of Nic's original artwork- Iron work, Stained Glass, Paintings etc. The home really reflects the personalities of NIc and Eileen. We stayed in the Woodland Suite which was well appointed and comfortable, and Eileen's... More

After reading all the reviews I was excited to stay here. I do have a strong interest in Arts and Crafts style homes and love touring Frank Loyd Wright houses. It seems there is a common issue with reviews - people either leave very positive reviews or have a bad experience and rip into the folks. We had a nice... More

After some GPS quirkiness, we arrived at HHF around 3 in the afternoon. I had spoken to Eileen two weeks earlier to arrange to have roses waiting. Eileen and the roses were awaiting us when we entered. We booked the Woodland Suite. The accommodations were quaint, providing us with a mini dining room, private bath and shower (although only room... More

Stayed here for a long weekend in the fall. The place is beautiful and really an artists dream. The home was bought in 1989 as a shack and (according to the owner's bio) probably some sort of hidden drug den. Since the then the owners have turned it into an eclectic museum of their beautiful glass, wood, iron and visual... More

I have to say I was SO excited to stay at Hill Home Forge (this was about a year ago). After reading countless 5 star reviews and planning the whole trip for my family, I was truly looking forward to a wonderful experience. Our room was beautiful and the whole house was really neat, so that was a major plus... More

Very comfortable bed, kitchenette, mini fireplace and balcony. The view was beautiful as well. Eileen is an awesome cook and artist. Nic is a very talented artist and I recommend taking a tour... We booked this B&B for an anniversary weekend away. First time to Jim Thorpe area and we LOVED this place. The suite was spacious, clean, quiet and relaxing. The owners Nik and Eileen are great hosts. Eileen cooks a delicious, fresh breakfast. There was lots of unique art and stained glass that was created by Nik and it's beautiful! We... More

We have stayed at Hill Home Forge many times. It is always a pleasure! The hosts are friendly and have created a relaxing retreat which features their artwork. They also have a studio on-site and offer classes for those with a desire to learn about stained glass. The rooms are very pleasant and clean. The breakfast comes with several choices.... More

This was our first time at HHF and we found it wonderful. It is so close to Jim Thorpe which offers a lot of options for dining as well as great outdoor activities. We hiked and biked and climbed a waterfall. Down the hill from HHF was a great pre-breakfast 2 mile walk along a babbling brook to a lovely... More
